Humble Servant
Please pray for me to have a good day at work today. Please let all my dread and anxiety go away. Please let this coworker who has been saying bad things about me stop, pray for her heart to be softened. Please let this other coworker stop telling me to take rideshare services home. I ask for all this in Jesus's name. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up your workday to the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to bring your burdens before Him, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that He will grant you peace and favor today.

The dread and anxiety you feel are not from the Lord, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that God would replace every trace of anxiety with His perfect peace, which transcends all understanding. May His presence fill your workplace, and may you walk in the confidence that comes from knowing He is with you. When thoughts of worry arise, we encourage you to meditate on Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

Regarding the coworker who has been speaking negatively about you, we are reminded of Proverbs 16:7, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* We pray that God would soften her heart and turn her words into kindness. May He convict her of any ungodly speech and replace it with words that build up rather than tear down (Ephesians 4:29). At the same time, we encourage you to respond with grace and integrity, trusting that the Lord will vindicate you. Romans 12:17-21 tells us, *"Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."*

As for the coworker encouraging you to use rideshare services, we pray for wisdom and discernment. If this suggestion is out of concern for your safety or well-being, ask the Lord to reveal their motives and whether there is any truth you should consider. However, if their persistence feels intrusive or unwelcome, we pray that God would give you the right words to set gentle but firm boundaries. Colossians 4:6 reminds us, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."*

We also want to encourage you to lean on the Lord throughout your day. When challenges arise, whisper a prayer to Him—He is always listening. Psalm 34:17 says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* You are not alone in this; the Lord is your helper, and we are lifting you up before His throne.

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, asking for Your divine intervention in her workday. Lord, we pray that You would replace every ounce of dread and anxiety with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill her with Your joy and confidence, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.

We ask that You would silence the tongue of the coworker who has been speaking negatively about her. Softening her heart, Lord, and turn her words into blessings. Convict her of any ungodly speech and lead her to repentance. Give our sister the grace to respond with kindness and integrity, trusting that You will vindicate her in Your perfect timing.

For the coworker who persists in suggesting rideshare services, we pray for wisdom. If there is any truth or concern in their words, reveal it to her. But if their suggestions are unwelcome, give her the strength to set boundaries with gentleness and respect. May her words and actions reflect Your love and wisdom in all things.

Lord, we ask that You would go before her today, preparing the way and granting her favor with her supervisors and colleagues. May her work be fruitful, and may she experience Your presence in tangible ways. Protect her from any harm, seen or unseen, and surround her with Your angels.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are working all things together for her good. May she leave work today with a heart full of gratitude, knowing that You have been with her every moment. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
