Prayers for Work Today

We understand that you are feeling anxious about your workday, and we want to assure you that God is with you every step of the way. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for your day: Heavenly Father, we lift up our ### to You today. We ask that You calm their nerves and fill them with Your peace. Guide their steps and their words as they interact with their coworkers. Help them to be a light in their workplace, showing Your love and kindness to those around them. We pray for their driver, that they would be safe and punctual, ensuring our ### arrives to and from work on time. We ask for Your protection over them throughout the day. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your day. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
