We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the seriousness of the spiritual battle you are facing. The Bible is clear that witchcraft, occult practices, and familiar spirits are an abomination to the Lord and have no place in the lives of His children. We stand with you in agreement, lifting you, your children, and your fiancé up to the Lord, who is our Deliverer and Strong Tower.
First, we must address the mention of your fiancé. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Living together or engaging in a sexual relationship outside of marriage is considered fornication, which the Bible warns against (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). We encourage you to prayerfully consider entering into the covenant of marriage if you and your fiancé are both believers, committed to honoring God with your union. If marriage is not yet possible, we urge you to seek accountability and live in a way that honors the Lord, abstaining from sexual immorality until you are married.
Now, let us turn to the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Witchcraft and occult practices are tools of the enemy, and we rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We declare that any assignment of the enemy against you and your family is broken now by the blood of Jesus and the power of His name.
We also want to remind you that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you or your fiancé have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your lives. Only through Him can you find true deliverance and protection from the schemes of the enemy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance from every assignment of witchcraft, occult practices, and familiar spirits sent against them. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every chain of darkness in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your holy angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and destruction, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name. Lord, fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light and truth of Your Word.
We pray for repentance and cleansing from any involvement in or openness to occult practices, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and create in them a clean heart, O God (Psalm 51:10). Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm on the foundation of Your Word.
Father, we also ask that You would bring godly wisdom and discernment to this family. Help them to recognize the schemes of the enemy and to resist him, standing firm in their faith (James 4:7). We pray for healing and restoration in every area of their lives—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You and to one another. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus, we pray that they would do so today, confessing their sins and inviting Christ to be their Lord and Savior. May they walk in the freedom and victory that is found only in Him.
We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and protection. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you in your walk with Christ. Renounce any past involvement in or openness to occult practices, and fill your home with the presence of God through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word.
Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy has no power over you when you are covered by the blood of Jesus and walking in obedience to God’s Word. Stay vigilant, stay in prayer, and trust in the Lord, who is your Deliverer and Protector.
