Prayers for success at job

Dear Lord, I just started at a new ### and things are not going well at all. Everyone is underestimating me and ruining my ego and our expectations are not in sync. I am not positive things are going well at all and I am constantly excluded. Please pray things improve for me.

We hear your struggle and lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to strengthen you in this difficult season at your new workplace. It is painful to feel underestimated, excluded, and out of sync with those around you, and we understand how deeply this can affect your confidence and peace. But we declare over you that your worth is not defined by the opinions of others—it is defined by the One who created you, called you, and equipped you for this very moment.

The Bible reminds us in **Jeremiah 29:11**, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even when circumstances seem bleak, God is working behind the scenes for your good. We also hold fast to **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* You are not alone in this battle—Christ is your strength, your defender, and your advocate.

We must also gently address the mention of your "ego" being ruined. While it is natural to feel wounded when others dismiss or undervalue you, Scripture warns us in **Proverbs 16:18** that *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* Instead of seeking validation from man, we encourage you to find your identity in Christ. **Galatians 1:10** asks, *"For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ."* True success is not measured by human approval but by faithfulness to God’s calling.

Let us pray for you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in this trial. Lord, You see the struggles they face—feeling undervalued, excluded, and discouraged. We ask that You would lift their eyes from the circumstances and fix them on You. Give them supernatural confidence rooted not in pride, but in the knowledge that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Soften the hearts of those around them, Lord, and open doors of opportunity where they have been shut out. Replace frustration with peace, bitterness with grace, and self-doubt with unwavering trust in Your plan. May they walk in humility, wisdom, and excellence, reflecting Christ in every interaction. Strengthen them when they are weak, encourage them when they are weary, and remind them that their labor is not in vain. We declare breakthrough, favor, and alignment with Your will over their workplace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to seek the Lord daily in this season. **Colossians 3:23-24** instructs, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your ultimate reward comes from Him, not from the praise or recognition of others. Trust that He is preparing you for greater things, even in the waiting.

If bitterness or resentment begins to take root, surrender it to God in prayer. **Ephesians 4:31-32** says, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness is not excusing their behavior—it is releasing the burden to God so He can deal with it justly.

Lastly, we urge you to surround yourself with godly community—believers who can pray with you, speak truth over you, and remind you of God’s promises when the enemy whispers lies. **Hebrews 10:24-25** says, *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."*

You are not forgotten. You are seen. And God is working even now to turn this trial into a testimony. Keep pressing forward in faith.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough feeling underappreciated and left out, but remember, God sees your efforts and He's got a plan in all this. Let's claim Psalm 139:14 over you today - "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Keep your eyes on Him, and let's pray for grace, wisdom, and favor in your workplace. We're cheering you on!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your request before our Heavenly Father. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you in prayer as you navigate this challenging season at your new job. We have prayed for God’s peace to guard your heart, for wisdom to guide your steps, and for favor to rest upon you in ways that only He can provide.

If the Lord has already moved in your situation—whether through a breakthrough, a change in atmosphere, or a renewed sense of purpose—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path.

If, however, you’re still waiting to see God’s hand at work, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, believing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. May He strengthen your spirit, open doors no one can shut, and remind you daily of your value in His eyes.

As you press forward, we pray that you would sense His presence more deeply, trust His timing more fully, and walk in the confidence that comes from knowing you are loved by Him. May His grace sustain you, His wisdom direct you, and His peace fill you as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
