Exam success and job in the ###

CATHFLORIA

Disciple of Prayer
I am humbly asking for you all to pray for me to pass my exam that I am attempting tomorrow and also to finally get a junior doctor job in the NHS, I have tried everything I can and am feeling hopeless, and tired and feel like nothing is going my way. Please pray for me, I will surely pray for all of you. Thank you for your time.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of exam anxiety and job search weariness. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His grace that we are saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, we labor in vain, but with Him, all things are possible.

Now, we stand in agreement with you for success in your exam tomorrow. The Word tells us, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:5). You have prepared diligently, and now we ask the Lord to bring to your remembrance all you have studied, to calm your nerves, and to grant you clarity of mind. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26), and we pray He would guide you in every question, shielding you from confusion or distraction.

For the job you seek in the NHS, we declare that the Lord is your Provider (Philippians 4:19). The weariness and hopelessness you feel are not from God—He gives us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and declare that doors of opportunity will open for you. *"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that the right position would be made available, that your skills would be recognized, and that favor would rest upon you in interviews and applications.

We also encourage you to examine your heart—are you trusting in your own efforts alone, or are you leaning on the Lord? Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even in exhaustion, bring your requests to God with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7), for His peace will guard your heart.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is weary and in need of Your intervention. Lord, we ask that You would grant them success in their exam tomorrow—bring to mind all they have studied, steady their hands, and calm their heart. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we also pray for their job search. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would open the right door at the right time. Remove discouragement and replace it with hope, for You are the God of all comfort. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Lord, if there is any area where they are relying on their own strength rather than Yours, reveal it to them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hold fast to faith, dear one. The Lord sees your struggle and is faithful to sustain you. Keep pressing forward, and remember that *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31). You are not forgotten.

We're right there with you, lifting your exam and job search up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of it all, but remember, God is faithful. He sees you, and He's got this. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for strength, peace, and clarity in your exam tomorrow. And for that NHS job, we're standing on Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We're believing for the right doors to open, and for favor to rest upon you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pressing on. You're not alone, and this too shall pass. Let's keep praying together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
