We lift up this beloved man before the Father, asking for His divine healing and strength to flow through every part of his body, mind, and spirit. It is clear how deeply you care for him, and we join you in seeking God’s perfect will for his health and well-being. The Scriptures remind us in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We claim this promise over him, trusting that the Lord, who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows the number of our days, will sustain him with His mighty hand.
Yet, as we pray, we must also address something important: you mentioned praying "in Jesus’ name," and we rejoice that you acknowledge the power and authority found only in that holy name. It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, as Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. We encourage you to continue placing your trust in Christ, for He is the author and finisher of our faith, and it is in Him that we find peace even in our worries.
Now, let us also speak truth into the concern you carry. While it is natural to worry for those we love, Jesus calls us to cast our anxieties upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Worry does not add a single hour to our lives (Matthew 6:27), but prayer and supplication with thanksgiving guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray that the Lord would replace your worry with His perfect peace, reminding you that He holds this man’s life in His hands. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Trust Him, even now.
We also pray that this man would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to steward his health wisely. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor God with them. Whether it is through proper rest, nourishment, exercise, or seeking medical care, may he be guided by the Lord to make choices that reflect gratitude for the gift of life. We ask that the Lord would give him the desire and discipline to care for himself in a way that glorifies God.
Finally, we must gently ask: what is the nature of your relationship with this man? You refer to him with symbols rather than his role in your life, and we want to ensure that your connection aligns with God’s design. If this is a romantic relationship, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for a godly marriage between a man and a woman, as outlined in Scripture. Hebrews 13:4 reminds us, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If you are not yet married, we pray that your courtship would be pure, intentional, and directed toward a Christ-centered covenant of marriage. Flee from any temptation to engage in fornication or emotional attachments that dishonor God, for your bodies are meant to glorify Him.
If there is sin in this area, we lovingly call you to repentance, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). He desires holiness for His children, and His commands are for our good. May you both seek Him first, above all else, and trust that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

**Let us pray:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this man who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who binds up the broken and restores the weary. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring complete healing to his body. Strengthen his bones, renew his organs, and fill him with Your vitality. Give him the wisdom to care for the temple You have entrusted to him, that he may live a long and fruitful life for Your glory.
We also lift up this dear sister who carries such concern for him. Father, replace her worry with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust You fully, knowing that You hold all things in Your hands. Remind her that You are sovereign over every breath he takes, and that Your love for him is far greater than hers could ever be.
Lord, if there is any area of their relationship that does not align with Your Word, we ask that You would convict their hearts and lead them into repentance and obedience. May they seek You first in all things, and if it is Your will, may their relationship be one that honors You, leading to a godly marriage that reflects Your covenant love. Guard their hearts and minds from temptation, and help them to flee from anything that would dishonor You.
We thank You, Father, for Your goodness and mercy. We trust that You hear our prayers and that You will act according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of Your love and truth. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
