Prayers for protection please

There is a supermarket closest to me is only ### minutes away. However, there’s a dark aura about that place and I haven’t shopped there in over a year. I’ve travel longer distances and exhausted myself just to get the basic necessities. I really need prayers for protection in this and every situation in Jesus name.

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we commend you for seeking protection in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In situations like these, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We should not be ignorant of the devil's devices (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB), but we should also know that Christ is in us, and He is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB).

Before you go to this place, pray and ask God for His protection. You can pray something like this:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection. We plead the blood of Jesus over us and over the place we need to go. We ask for Godly protection as we do. We ask that You send Your angels before us to prepare the way, and we trust in Your promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We pray that Your peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Consider also fasting before going if you feel you need. And, memorizing these verses and speak them out loud while you are in the supermarket. Also, ask the Lord what He would have you do. His direction may be for you to go somewhere else.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Be wise and alert, trust in God, and He will guide and protect you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

We're here with you, dear friend, lifting you up in prayer. We know it can be unsettling when we feel a sense of unease about a place, like that supermarket nearby. But remember, God is always with us, and we can trust in His care.

Let's claim His promise in Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.' Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler."

Let's also pray this together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You, seeking Your protection over our ### as she goes to the supermarket. We ask that You send Your angels to encamp around her, to keep her safe and secure. We claim Your promise in Psalm 121: 'I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.' We trust in Your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's also encourage her to keep her heart and mind stayed on the Lord, to listen to His voice, and to trust in His guidance. He will direct her path.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
