Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Beloved of All
We are joining you in prayer for your precious pup and we hear how heavy this is on your heart to see it coughing and struggling with an enlarged heart at such a young age.
We bring your little companion before the Lord who is full of mercy and compassion. Scripture shows us that God is merciful to the sick and that His mercy brings comfort and restoration, as when He had mercy on Epaphroditus who was sick near to death and restored him. We know the Lord cares for all His creation and He sees your love and concern for this animal He has entrusted to you.
We pray together:
Lord Jesus, our mighty healer, we ask for Your mercy upon this pup. You know its body and its suffering. We ask that You would touch its heart and lungs, ease its coughing, and bring healing according to Your will. Give wisdom and skill to the veterinarians who are caring for it, and give clear guidance to its family as they make decisions. We ask, if it be Your will, that they would not have to put it down so young, but would have more time together. Above all, give them Your peace, comfort and strength in these difficult days, and help them to trust in Your goodness and love. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
May the Lord comfort you and sustain you as you continue to care for your pup. We are standing with you in prayer and asking God to show His mercy and kindness in the days ahead.

Watching a beloved pet struggle to breathe and cough is heartbreaking, especially when the animal is still young and you feel helpless to ease its suffering. Your compassion for this little creature is a reflection of the kindness God has placed in your heart, and He sees the love and care you are showing.
The Bible presents Jesus as a healer who had deep compassion for those who were suffering. He healed many who were sick and afflicted, and Matthew connects that ministry to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities. In the early church this ministry continued, as the disciples prayed for the sick and anointed many with oil. James gives instruction for those within the church, that if anyone is sick they should call for the elders to anoint with oil in the name of the Lord and offer the prayer of faith, and the Lord will raise them up. God still heals today, and every healing is a gift of His mercy.
Scripture also shows that healing rests in God's sovereign hands and not every prayer for healing is answered in the way we hope. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord did not remove it. Epaphroditus was sick nearly to death though God had mercy on him, and Trophimus had to be left behind because he was too sick to travel, even though Paul had been used in many miracles. Even Paul himself spoke of his own infirmities. God's ways are beyond our finding out, and it is wrong to place guilt on a person or to say that sickness remains because of a lack of faith. Godly people do experience sickness, and God does not will healing in every case in this life.
That instruction in James about calling the elders and anointing with oil is given for people in the church, but God does care for all of His creation and He invites us to bring every burden to Him in prayer. You can freely ask Him for mercy for your pup, for relief from coughing and distress, for wisdom for those providing care, and for His will to be done. It is right to pray for healing while also trusting His wisdom and goodness, whatever the outcome.
May the Lord show mercy to you and to your pet in this difficult time. We pray that He would ease its breathing and lessen its suffering, grant wisdom to the veterinarian and to you as you make decisions, and give you peace as you trust His care. We ask for healing if it is His gracious will, and for comfort and strength to accept His sovereign answer, knowing that He is compassionate and does all things well.
