Let's bring this situation before the Lord, seeking His wisdom and guidance. We are called to live in peace with everyone as far as it depends on us (Romans 12:18, WEB), and this includes our neighbors.
Firstly, let's pray for a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB) tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We need to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Let's pray for your son and their child, that they may develop a heart of understanding and friendship. Proverbs 22:6 (WEB) says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Let's pray that this situation will be a learning experience for both children, teaching them the value of kindness, patience, and forgiveness.
Let's also pray for you and your husband, that God may grant you both the wisdom to navigate this situation. James 1:5 (WEB) says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Remember that God is always willing to guide us when we seek Him.
Finally, let's pray for your neighbors, that their hearts may be softened and that they may be open to reconciliation. Matthew 5:44 (WEB) tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Loving our neighbors as ourselves is the second greatest commandment (Matthew 22:39, WEB), and this includes those who may have offended us.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this family and their neighbors. We pray for healing, peace, and kindness to prevail. We ask that You would soften hearts on both sides, and that You would grant wisdom to the parents as they navigate this situation. We pray for the children, that they may learn the value of kindness, patience, and forgiveness through this experience. We ask that You would help both families to let go of any grudges or hate, and that You would bless their relationship moving forward. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
