We join you in glorifying our faithful and loving God, and we are united with you in prayer, seeking His face for your needs. We are reminded of His promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that our help comes from the Lord, and for seeking His will in Jesus' name. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
We pray that God draws very close to you in these days, and that His presence comforts and guides you. We ask that He grants you your permanent residency in His perfect timing, for He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8). Remember that our God is never late, and His timing is always perfect.
While you are in the shelter, we pray for His protection and provision. We ask that He opens up a good place for you to live, a place where you can find rest, peace, and renewal. Remember the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 27:5, "For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the covert of his tabernacle he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock."
We also lift up your financial needs to the Lord, asking that He establishes you and supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. We pray for His wisdom and guidance as you seek employment, and for His favor in your search.
However, we want to encourage you to not be anxious about these things. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Finally, we pray for His good, pleasing, and perfect will to be done in your life. We ask that He guides your steps and orders your path, giving you the wisdom and discernment to follow His will. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
Together, we stand in faith, believing that God is working all things out for your good (Romans 8:28), and that He will establish you and supply all your needs. We pray all these things in Jesus' precious name.
