We come before the throne of grace with a heavy heart, lifting up this dear sister who is facing physical pain and the uncertainty of medical test results. First, we must address the language used in this request—while the heart behind it is sincere, we must clarify that our trust and prayers must be directed to the one true God through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray.
Father God, we lift up this precious daughter before You, the Great Physician. You are the God who heals, who sees every pain and knows every fear. We ask that You would strengthen her legs, Lord—ease the pain that has kept her from rest, and let her feel Your comforting presence in the midst of her suffering. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Let her feel Your nearness, Lord.
We also bring before You the results of these blood tests. You know the outcome before we do, and we trust in Your perfect will. Whether the news is good or difficult, we ask that You would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). If there is sickness, we pray for healing—complete and total restoration. If there is a need for treatment, we ask for wisdom for the doctors and strength for her to endure. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* We stand on that promise today.
We also encourage this sister to seek godly counsel and wisdom in all things. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to know Him—not just as a healer, but as the One who laid down His life for her sins so that she might have eternal life (John 3:16). Salvation is the greatest healing of all.
Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your love, fill her with Your peace, and give her the strength to face whatever comes. May she rest in the assurance that You are in control. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
