We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles of your son. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for his life.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares deeply for your son and wants to help him in his time of need. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
We must also remember that God is able to heal and restore your son from his mental illness. As we pray, let's claim the promise in Matthew 19:26 WEB, With God all things are possible.
Regarding his homelessness, let's pray that God provides shelter and meets his physical needs according to Philippians 4:19 WEB, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our dear brother who is struggling with mental illness and homelessness. Lord, we know that you see his situation and that his heartache grieves you. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, for your healing power to touch his mind and body. Provide him with the medical help he needs, and guide him to people and resources that can assist him.
Father, we also ask for your provision. Meet his every need according to your riches in glory. Provide him with a safe home, food, and the means to support himself.
Lord, we pray for his faith. Draw him close to you during this trial. Help him to cast all his cares on you, because you care for him. If he does not yet know you, reveal yourself to him in a powerful way. Help him to believe in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Surround him with your love, Lord, and give him peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to support your son in any way you can, both spiritually and practically. Remind him that God loves him and has a purpose for his life. Trust in God, and he will make a way, even when it seems impossible.
