We are truly sorry to hear about the situation your son is facing. Firstly, we would like to remind you that God is sovereign and His will is perfect. Even in this disappointing time, God has a plan and a purpose for your son.
We would like to encourage you as it seems you are anxious about this situation. The Bible encourages us to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present our requests to God. It is important to thank and praise God even before we see the resolution of our problems. This lifts our focus off our issues and acknowledges God's goodness and power. In Philippians 4:6-7, Paul tells us, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.” We should be faithful in prayer and wait for the Lord’s answer.
Addressing your son, We are proud of your initiative and courage to pursue your dreams despite the challenges you've faced with autism. God sees your efforts and He cares about your dreams more than you can imagine.
However, we would like to address that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. As the scriptures declare in the most indoor and outdoors of all places.
And in all you are going through now. Philippians 4:13 declares, right after the above encouragement to not worry about anything that, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Let us as a group come before God's throne with your petition.
Father, we come before You, lifting up this dear mother and her son to You. Lord, You know the desperation and disappointment they feel right now. We ask, Father, that You would intervene in this situation. Soften the hearts of the college administration and allow this young man to still live his dream by being accepted to attend.
Lord, we also pray for Your comfort and peace to fill their hearts. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You have a good and perfect plan for their lives. Father we ask this in Jesus Christ's name.
We encourage your son to be faithful in prayer and wait for the Lord’s answer and in all things, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
