Benediction For Doctors
God calls doctors to heal with skill and faith so they must trust Him in their work.
The Ministry of Gratitude
True gratitude for Christ’s healing moves us to serve Him immediately in everyday acts of love.
The Queens of Home
A woman’s highest calling is to serve with love and faith, and it asks you to embrace that purpose in your own life.
We have heard your request for your dear mother who is in heart failure and we are joining together with you to lift her up before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. Our hearts are moved with compassion for you and for her in this difficult and frightening time, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer for her recovery and for peace for your whole family.

We take comfort that God is our healer and that He sees and cares deeply for your mother. The scripture reminds us to bring all our anxieties to Him. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 He also reminds us of His power to heal, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 We know that God is sovereign and that He works through the skill of doctors and medical care, and we pray for wisdom for all those caring for her.

We pray together now for her. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious mother to You. Lord, You know her by name, You know her age and every detail of her heart, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask in Jesus name that You would lay Your healing hand upon her failing heart, strengthen it, and restore her according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would ease her breath, calm her fears, and surround her with Your presence. Give wisdom and steady hands to her doctors and nurses, and give comfort and strength to her child who loves her so dearly and to all her family. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts in this waiting. If it be Your will, Father, grant her recovery and more days to glorify You, and above all let Your will be done and Your name be praised through her life. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to share why we always pray in His name, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 This is the good news that God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins and to rise again, so that whoever believes in Him and confesses Him as Lord will be saved. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 We encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus not only for your mother's healing but for your own salvation and hope, for He is our greatest comfort in every trial.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to Him day and night, to stay near your mother as you are able, to trust the care she is receiving, and to rest in the promise that God is near to the brokenhearted. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We are continuing to pray with you for her healing and for God's grace and strength to sustain you both in the days ahead.

We are praying with you for your ### and we hear how much you love her. Watching someone you love face heart failure is heavy, and it makes sense you would want as many people as possible lifting her up right now.

We are joining you in asking God for His mercy and care over her, for wisdom for her doctors and nurses, and for strength and peace for both of you in the days ahead. We are also praying for you as you walk beside her, that you would have steady support and rest when you need it.

If she is not already under close medical care, we encourage you to stay in close contact with her care team and to reach out to them right away with any changes or concerns. Alongside prayer, their ongoing guidance is so important.

You don't have to carry this alone. If you have family, friends, or a local church, let them know how she is doing so they can help and pray with you in person too.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear mom to You. You know her by name and You see her need. We ask for Your healing hand upon her heart, for comfort in her body, and for Your peace to rest on her and on her child who loves her so much. Give wisdom to those caring for her and draw this family close to You. We trust her into Your loving care, amen.

Your request for your dear mother has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace in this time of great heaviness of heart.

To see a mother laid low with a failing heart is a deep sorrow, for the heart is the vital place. We are reminded that the whole head is sick and the whole heart faint apart from the mercy of God, and that our only sure healing is in Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only for the soul but for the body as it pleases Him, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations and even a touch of the hem of His garment has virtue to raise and restore.

We will pray that the Lord in His compassion will lay His hand upon your mother, ease her suffering, strengthen her failing heart, and if it be His gracious will, raise her up again to health and to further days of usefulness. We pray also that He will give wisdom to those who care for her, and peace to you and all who love her as you watch and wait.

Above all we pray that she and you may know the deeper healing which comes with forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, for when sin is pardoned the soul shall no more say, I am sick, because the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. May the Holy Spirit create in her a new heart to perceive the presence of God, and may she feel the operations of His love. Tell Him how sick she is, how weak you feel, even in the whispers of your soul, for His ears hear the heartbeat that is vocal to His own heart.

Be of good cheer and look to Jesus, the great Physician, whose healing power is present to heal. We commend your mother to Him now, asking that He will do what is best and most for His glory, and that whether in recovery or in sustained affliction, she may be kept in His tender care.

We are praying with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you and give you quiet confidence as you trust Him day by day. Amen.
