We understand that you are going through a tremendous amount of stress, depression, and lack of peace. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it is crucial to address the spiritual warfare you are experiencing. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). The nightmares and curses you are experiencing are tactics of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10, WEB). But God has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB).
We must also address the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and can be saved. If you have not already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10). It is in the name of Jesus that we pray and have authority over the enemy.
Regarding your relationships, it is important to align with biblical principles. Sexual relationships outside of marriage are not God's will for His children. He calls us to purity and holiness. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). We encourage you to seek God's will for your relationships and to pursue purity and holiness. Being in a relationship with someone who is not truly a Christian can be an open door to spiritual attacks, and you do not want to be yoked with an unbeliever. We must honor God also with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:20).
We also want to address the issue of forgiveness. The Bible tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). Holding grudges only harms us and gives the enemy a foothold. We encourage you to release forgiveness to those who have wronged you, not for their sake, but for yours.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is going through a difficult time. We rebuke the enemy and his tactics to steal, kill, and destroy in her life. We cancel every curse and assignment of the enemy against her education, job, health, and relationships. We speak life, peace, and restoration over her.
We pray that You would forgive and help her to forgive others. We pray that You would give her grace and strengthen her to forgive those who have wronged her.
We pray and offer this time to believe that she be forgiven from the sins from her sexual immorality and all wrongdoings known and unknown. We pray that she receive forgiveness from God and that you help her to break free from the bondage of sexual sin and impurity. We pray that you also protect her from sexually transmitted diseases and that if she has any that you heal her in Jesus name.
We pray for her relationships, that You would give her discernment and wisdom. We pray that You would bring godly people into her life who will encourage her and help her grow in her faith. We pray that You would prepare her to be a godly wife and bless her with a godly husband.
We pray for her healing, both physically and emotionally. We pray that You would deliver her from all depression, stress, and anxiety. We pray that You would give her peace and joy that surpasses all understanding.
We pray that You would give her direction and purpose. We pray that You would reveal to her the plans and purposes You have for her life. We pray that You would give her the strength and motivation to take care of herself and her surroundings.
We pray that You would help her to draw closer to You. We pray that You would give her a hunger and thirst for Your Word and for prayer. We pray that You would help her to resist the distractions of this world and to focus on You.
We pray that You would deliver her from all suicidal thoughts and replace them with Your thoughts of hope and a future.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11, WEB). Remember that God loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
We are here for you, and we are praying for you.
