Prayers for my friend ###. He is the one who recently found God. Tonight he is struggling with depression and self-loathing. I don't know how to help him and he is so early in his faith that he won't talk about it. He gave me a sarcastic reply when I told him Jesus died for him. Now he is turning to bad addictions to "help him cope." I don't know what I can do but pray. I ask you to pray for him as well.

Let the plans that You, Jehovah God, have planned for us come forth and materialize. Place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around us. Keep us safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. Be our refuge, fortress, our ever present help in the time of trouble. Bless our going out and coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Thank You God. Amen, so be it.
