We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious children who are suffering in sickness. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that You would lay Your healing hands upon these little ones. Touch their bodies, Lord, and bring complete restoration. For Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over them today.
We pray especially for the youngest child, who seems to be struggling the most. Father, we ask that You would strengthen their little body and bring relief from the coughing and wheezing. Let them feel Your peace and comfort in the midst of this trial. For the niece who has been diagnosed with pneumonia, we thank You for the medicine that has been provided, and we ask that You would multiply its effectiveness. Heal her lungs, Lord, and restore her to full health. We also lift up the situation she has been removed from, asking that You would continue to protect her from any toxic influences. Provide for all her needs, both physical and emotional, and surround her with Your love and care. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We rebuke the spirit of sickness that has come against these children in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on the truth of Your Word, which says in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray this prayer of faith now, trusting that You will raise these children up to health and wholeness.
Father, we also ask that You would grant wisdom and strength to the parents and caregivers of these children. Give them patience, peace, and the assurance of Your presence as they tend to their little ones. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are in control.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can come to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
