We are truly saddened to hear about the pain and distress you are experiencing in your marriage. Firstly, we want to assure you that God sees your suffering and He cares deeply for you. Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who is hurting so much in her marriage. Lord, You know the depth of her pain, the betrayal, the disrespect, and the adultery she has endured. We pray for Your divine intervention, Lord. Convict her husband of his sins, and bring him to true repentance. Change his heart, Lord, and make him the godly husband and father You want him to be. Heal this marriage, Lord, and restore what the enemy has stolen. Give this sister Your peace, Your strength, and Your wisdom. Help her to make the right decisions, Lord, and guide her every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Sister, the Bible tells us that God hates divorce.
Malachi 2:16 "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful."
However, God also knows that there are situations where reconciliation is not possible without true repentance and change. It is clear that your husband has been involved in adultery, which is a serious sin against God and against you.
Matthew 5:27-28 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."
God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, where both parties love, respect, and honor each other.
Ephesians 5:25-33 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... Let each one of you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
We strongly advise you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor. They can provide you with guidance and support tailored to your specific situation. It's also crucial to surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can pray with you and encourage you during this challenging time.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. He is your strength, your hope, and your salvation. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5 "...for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God will bring about what is best for you and your family. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep hoping in the Lord. He is faithful, and He will do it.
With all this being said, we still need to pray for your husband.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, 'As I live,' says the Lord Yahweh, 'I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?'
Lord we pray for his repentance, conviction of sin and change.
