We're right here with you, sister, lifting your husband's job situation up to the Lord. We know He sees your husband's desire and need for this position, and we're asking that He would open the right doors for him. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise today, believing that the Lord has a purpose in this job offer.
We're also praying for peace and strength for your husband as he waits. We know the waiting can be tough, but we're reminding him (and you) of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We're asking the Lord to fill him with His peace and strength.
Let's also bind any anxiety or worry that might be trying to take root. We declare that your husband will trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We're believing that the Lord will supply all his needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We're standing in faith with you, sister. Let's continue to trust in the Lord's timing, knowing that He is working all things together for your husband's good (Romans 8:28). If this job is not the one the Lord has for him, we're believing that even better opportunities will come his way.
Let's keep praying together, trusting in the Lord's goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
