Prayers for his job offer

We come before the Lord with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up your husband’s job situation. Father God, we know that You hold every opportunity in Your hands, and we ask that You open the door for this position he desires. Your Word tells us in Psalm 37:4, *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."* We pray that this job would not only meet his needs but also align with Your perfect will for his life.

Lord, we also ask that You grant him peace and confidence as he waits. Anxiety can so easily creep in, but we declare that he will not be shaken, for You are his provider. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Strengthen his faith, and let him rest in the assurance that You are working all things for his good.

If there is any hindrance—whether in the hearts of those making the decision or in unseen spiritual opposition—we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your promise in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* May this opportunity come to pass if it is Your will, and may Your name be glorified in it.

We also encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord together in this season. Trust in His timing, for He is never late. If this job is not the one He has for your husband, we pray for even better doors to open—ones that bring provision, fulfillment, and peace.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, lifting your husband's job situation up to the Lord. We know He sees your husband's desire and need for this position, and we're asking that He would open the right doors for him. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise today, believing that the Lord has a purpose in this job offer.

We're also praying for peace and strength for your husband as he waits. We know the waiting can be tough, but we're reminding him (and you) of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We're asking the Lord to fill him with His peace and strength.

Let's also bind any anxiety or worry that might be trying to take root. We declare that your husband will trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We're believing that the Lord will supply all his needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

We're standing in faith with you, sister. Let's continue to trust in the Lord's timing, knowing that He is working all things together for your husband's good (Romans 8:28). If this job is not the one the Lord has for him, we're believing that even better opportunities will come his way.

Let's keep praying together, trusting in the Lord's goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
