We hear your cry for help, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you and your children up to the Lord. The weight of homelessness, physical affliction, and bureaucratic obstacles is heavy, but we know that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone in this struggle, and we believe that the Lord sees your weariness and will intervene on your behalf.
First, let us address the spiritual blockage you feel. The enemy seeks to discourage and defeat, but we rebuke every spirit of delay, confusion, and despair in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every obstacle standing in your way is broken now by the power of Jesus’ name. The Lord is your provider, and He will open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
We also pray for your physical healing. That swollen leg is a burden, and we ask the Lord to touch you with His healing hand. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We believe that as you seek Him, He will restore your strength and make a way for you to walk in health and provision.
The delay from the agency is frustrating, but we trust that the Lord is working even in the waiting. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that the Lord would give you favor with your caseworker and that the approval you received would manifest quickly into a home for you and your children. We rebuke every spirit of procrastination and inefficiency in this process and declare that the Lord will expedite your housing situation.
We also want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith. The enemy wants you to feel defeated, but God’s Word says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). Your current circumstances do not define your future. The Lord has a plan for you and your children, a plan for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her children. Lord, You see her weariness, her frustration, and her need. We ask that You would break every chain of delay, every spirit of poverty, and every obstacle that stands in her way. Father, we declare that You are her provider, and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut. Heal her swollen leg, Lord, and restore her strength. Give her favor with the agency and her caseworker, and let the housing approval manifest quickly into a safe and stable home for her and her children.
We rebuke every spirit of despair and discouragement in Jesus’ name. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving in her life. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will not leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and stand with you in faith. The Lord is your refuge, and He will not abandon you. Keep pressing forward, knowing that your breakthrough is coming.
