We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's health struggles and the additional challenge of her anxiety. Let's first address the spiritual aspect of healing and the power of prayer. We are reminded in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Healing comes from God alone, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence. As it is also written in Hebrews 4: 14-16, "Having then a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold tightly to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Let us pray together for your mother's healing:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon our beloved mother and sister in Christ. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand before Your power. We ask that You heal her stomach issues, strengthen her legs, and mend her heart. Lord, You know the depths of her anxiety and fear. We pray that You will fill her with Your perfect love, for Your perfect love casts out all fear. help her to be delivered of her fear and be willing to travel wherever is needed to receive the help she needs to improve. Please help her to be calm in the car, let her not get panic attacks during her traveling. Give her doctors wisdom in helping her. In Jesus Name, amen."
Regarding her anxiety, we encourage her to meditate on God's Word, specifically the promises that speak of His peace and protection. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, it is crucial to remember that God's will is paramount. As Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, "Not my will, but yours, be done." We pray for healing, but we also trust in God's perfect will for your mother's life.
