We join with you in lifting up your need for healing, and we are grateful that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His power and love, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is a God who heals and restores.
The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot physically anoint you, we lift you up in prayer with the same faith, trusting that the Lord hears and answers. We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:17, *"Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases,"* and we claim this promise over you today.
Your fear of getting up and walking is understandable, but we encourage you to hold fast to 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* The Lord is with you, and He will strengthen you. Even in this moment of weakness, His grace is sufficient, as He reminded Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Lean on Him, and do not let fear dictate your steps.
As for the stomach acid reflux, we pray for complete restoration of your body. Proverbs 4:20-22 tells us, *"My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body."* May the Lord bring healing to every part of your body, and may you experience His peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom in caring for your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If you haven’t already, consider consulting a trusted healthcare provider to address these physical symptoms while continuing to trust in the Lord’s healing power.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing dizziness and stomach acid reflux. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every part of our bodies with care and purpose. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch them with Your healing power. Rebuke this dizziness and restore their balance, that they may walk without fear. Calm the storm within their stomach and bring relief from the reflux, that they may eat and drink without discomfort.
Father, we know that You are not the author of fear, so we pray that You would replace every trace of anxiety with Your perfect peace. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Strength. Remind them that even when their body feels weak, Your strength is made perfect in their weakness. Let them feel Your presence surrounding them, lifting them up on eagle’s wings (Isaiah 40:31).
We also pray for wisdom, Lord. Guide them to the right steps, whether through rest, medical care, or dietary changes, that they may steward their body well for Your glory. And if there is any underlying spiritual or emotional root to these symptoms, we ask that You would reveal it and bring complete healing and deliverance.
Thank You, Father, for Your promise that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and their reliance on Your unfailing love.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
