Prayers for healing and clear scan

Please please if you can, pray for my Mum ###. She has a PET scan tomorrow and we pray that Jesus gives her clear results or at the very most something that can be fixed we rebuke any degeneration in her brain. We ask Jesus for full healing of her brain and cognitive issues please Jesus faith over fear

We join you in lifting up your Mum before the throne of grace and we stand with you in faith over fear as she goes for her PET scan tomorrow. We understand how anxious this waiting can be and how much you love her, and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you in the name of Jesus.

We rebuke any degeneration in her brain with you and we ask our Father for His mercy and healing touch upon her mind and cognitive health. Scripture reminds us that our God is our healer. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.

We also pray for your peace and for hers as you wait for results. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We take comfort that we can bring everything to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. He also says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You that we have access to Your throne through Him alone. We lift up this precious mother to You. You know her by name, You formed her, and every detail of her body and mind is known to You. We ask in Jesus name that You would place Your healing hand upon her brain and restore what has been affected. We rebuke any degenerative process and command it to leave in Jesus name, and we ask for complete healing of her cognitive function according to Your will. We pray for the PET scan tomorrow, for the technicians and doctors, and for clear results. We ask that if anything is found it would be something that can be fully treated and fixed, but we boldly ask for a clear scan that shows no serious disease. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard her and her family tonight and in the days to come, and let faith rise above fear. We trust You as Yahweh who heals us and we give You all the glory for what You will do. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting Him regardless of what the scan shows, knowing that He is sovereign, He loves your Mum even more than you do, and He hears the prayer of faith. Keep speaking life and scripture over her, rest in His peace, and let us continue to believe with you for His healing and mercy to be made evident.

It is such a tender place to be, loving someone and feeling helpless while you wait for answers about her brain and memory. Wanting to push back fear and hold onto faith makes complete sense, and it is understandable that anxiety is running high right now.

While you wait, a couple of small things can help steady you both. If you can go with her tomorrow, plan to arrive a little early, bring something familiar for comfort, and have a notebook ready to write down what the team says about when and how results will come. Afterwards, give yourselves permission to rest and do something simple together rather than trying to figure everything out at once. Continue to lean on her medical team for guidance about next steps once results are in.

We are asking the Lord for His mercy and healing presence over ###, for wisdom for the doctors and technicians caring for her, and for peace to guard your hearts in this waiting.

Father, we bring ### before You and ask for Your healing hand upon her brain and mind. We pray for a clear scan and for clarity for her doctors, and above all for Your will and Your comfort to surround her and her family tomorrow. Give them rest tonight and peace that steadies fear. We join you in bringing your dear mother before the throne of grace on the eve of her PET scan, and we will continue to pray that our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our great Physician, will be merciful to her.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He draws near, pardon and healing are found together in His hand. We ask Him to look upon your mother in compassion, to grant wisdom to those who read the scan, and if it be His gracious will, to give clear results or, at most, that which by His mercy can be remedied. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon her brain and to restore what cognitive strength has been troubled, for with Him nothing is too hard.

You have asked with the words faith over fear, and that is the very word the Lord speaks to His people. Again and again He says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, I have redeemed you. To fear is weakening and it dishonors the arm that piled the heavens, so we labor to put fear away by trust in promised strength. When Jesus says Fear not, it is disobedience to remain afraid, for He Himself whispers it to those who fall at His feet.

So we pray that the Lord will chase away tormenting fear from your heart and your mother's heart, and fill you both with a quiet confidence in His presence and His promise to help. May He give you perfect trust in His goodness, whatever the result, and may He grant that you see His hand working for good.

We pray, O Lord Jesus, have mercy upon this mother. Thou who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look upon her brain and all her infirmity. Grant a clear report from this scan according to Thy will, restrain all degeneration, and restore cognitive health as Thou seest best. Let faith triumph over fear in this family, and let them know that Thou art with them. We ask this in Thy precious and healing name. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have asked our Lord Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation and healing, to be merciful to her. We pray that He would grant wisdom and clarity to the medical team, and that the scan would show clear results or only what can be treated. We ask Him for His healing touch upon her brain and for restoration where there has been cognitive difficulty, according to His perfect will and power.

We hear your cry of faith over fear and we pray that for you and for her. Scripture reminds us that the Lord Himself says, Be not afraid, and that He is a stronghold for those who fear Him. When fear rises, may He quiet your hearts with His presence and fill you with confidence in His love and care. May He give you peace that guards your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you wait for these results.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your mum and allowing us to pray with you. Your love and care for her is a beautiful honoring of your mother, which God commands and delights in, and it is right to bring her before Jesus with such earnestness.

I am joining you in asking Jesus for mercy and healing for her brain and for clear results from this scan. We ask Him to touch what is damaged and to restore what is not working as it should. He created the brain with all of its intricate design, the way it receives and catalogs and interprets everything we hear and see and think, and He knows every pathway and pulse of thought within it. Nothing about its working is hidden from Him, and He is able to heal and to make whole. We pray that if there is anything that can be treated and corrected, the doctors will see it clearly, and we ask for His gracious hand to hold back any degeneration and to bring restoration to her memory and thinking.

I also hear the weight of fear in this waiting, and I want to encourage you to choose faith over fear. The Bible teaches that real wisdom begins with a reverent awe of God, not a panicked dread, but a deep respect for who He is, His greatness and power and love, learning to love what He loves and turn from what He opposes. That reverence is the beginning and the sum of true knowledge. When we remember who He is, fear loses its hold.

Fear and faith cannot live in the same place. Fear grows when we forget the Lord, and it often pushes us to wrong reactions. Remembering Him is the cure for fear. As David said, even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil for You are with me. The Lord Himself becomes our confidence and keeps us steady. Scripture also promises that those who live in reverent trust before Him will not lack any good thing He knows they need, even when the strong suffer want, He cares for His own.

Jesus healed in many different ways, but always He responded to faith that came and would not go away without His touch. Come to Him now and stay close to Him. Bring your mum to Him again and again.

Let us pray. Lord Jesus, we bring this precious mother to You. You see her brain and every cognitive struggle. We ask You to place Your healing hand upon her. We ask for clear scan results that give wisdom to her family and doctors, and above all for Your restoring work in her mind. Rebuke what would destroy and bring wholeness. Fill her family with Your peace that drives out fear, and help them to rest in confident faith in You. We trust You with her life and her future. In Your name, amen.
