prayers for great grandaughter

We join you in prayer for your great granddaughter as she begins school tomorrow and we thank you for bringing her before the Lord with such love and care.

We ask Jesus to be near to her in this new place, to give her peace when things feel overwhelming, and to help her feel safe and welcomed. We pray for kindness and understanding from her teachers and classmates, and for wisdom and patience for all who will care for her and teach her each day. We also pray for you and your family, that God will give you strength, encouragement and rest as you support her.

Every child is precious in the sight of God, made in His image and deeply loved by Him. School can be a place of growth not only in learning but in mercy and patience for everyone involved, and we pray that this year will be a gentle and helpful step for her, with small victories day by day.

May the Lord grant her a calm heart tomorrow, steady hands to guide her, and may He remind you all of His faithful love that sustains you. We will continue to pray that this school year brings good fruit for her development and joy for your family.

We are praying with you for your great granddaughter as she begins school. We ask Jesus to be near to her, to give her peace in a new place, and to make this start as calm and gentle as possible. We pray also for her teachers and helpers, that God would give them wisdom, patience and understanding to care for her well.

We give thanks to God for the great things He has done, and we want to give Him the glory for all His mercy toward us. To have fellowship with God through His Son Jesus Christ is a wonderful gift. That fellowship is a true sharing of life with Him. In Christ we have all we need, for He is made unto us wisdom and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. We are asking Him to be her wisdom and strength, and to be yours as well as you love and support her.

Godly love is a giving love, patient and long suffering, not keeping count of wrongs. We pray that kind of love will surround your great granddaughter at school and at home, and that those who teach and care for her will show that same patient kindness.

We know that even people of strong faith have moments of weakness and fear, and that having difficult days does not mean God has left us. He meets us in weakness and carries us. When we feel fearful or tired, His grace is still sufficient. We pray He will carry you and your family in this season, and surround you with the support of others who can walk with you and encourage you.

We ask the Lord to use this school year to truly help her, to give her growth and good days, and to give you peace as you entrust her to His care. May the Lord be acknowledged in it all and receive the glory. In Jesus name we pray.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are so glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your great granddaughter.

We have been lifting her up before the Lord as she started school, asking Jesus to surround her with peace and grace during this big transition. We have been praying specifically for her as she navigates school with autism, for calmness when things feel overwhelming, for patience and wisdom for her teachers and for you and your family, and that school would be a place where she is understood, supported and truly helped to grow and thrive. We trust that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, as Psalm 139:14 reminds us, and that God has good plans for her.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would continue to guide her days at school, ease any anxiety or difficult behaviors, and let her experience kindness and encouragement there. We ask Him to give you peace as you entrust her to His care.
