prayers for friend

I join you in bringing these burdens to the Lord and I thank you for sharing them so openly.

We pray now for your friend's best friend who has been found to have a blood clot on the brain and who will see the neurosurgeon this week. We ask Jesus, the great physician who has power over all sickness, to grant wisdom and skill to the doctors, to guide every decision for treatment, and to bring healing and peace to her and to all who love her. May the Lord calm her fear and surround her with His presence and comfort in the days ahead.

We also pray for you as you go to the hematologist tomorrow for your blood work. We ask the Lord to grant you peace as you wait, to give clear answers through the tests, and that the results would show no cause for concern. May Christ guard your heart from anxiety and remind you that your life is in His caring hands.

Father, we ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting in His mercy and love, and asking for Your will to be done with grace and healing. Grant strength to all who are waiting and worrying, and help each one to rest in Your goodness.

We will continue to pray with you. May the Lord grant you and your friends peace that passes understanding as you trust Him. Amen.

We are lifting you and your friend's loved one before the Lord in prayer and we thank you for sharing these burdens so we can bring them to Him together.

In a time filled with fear and uncertainty about medical news, God offers a peace that the world cannot understand or explain. Scripture teaches that first we need peace with God, and that peace is only possible through the blood of Jesus Christ who made peace for us on the cross. When we have been reconciled to God through Him, the war is over and we are no longer running from God. Then He wants us to know the peace of God in our daily lives, that steady keeping of our hearts and minds. The promise is that He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. As you turn your mind toward Him and trust Him to care for what concerns you, His peace begins to fill your heart. It is the peace that passes all understanding and guards the heart.

We are also asking the Lord for His healing touch. We believe God heals, and all true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through a gradual process. He created our bodies and ordained the processes by which they are restored, and He is not limited to one pattern. Sometimes He touches instantly, sometimes He works through time, through doctors and treatment, but in every case the healing is divine. We do not always understand why some are healed as we hope and others are not, but we can trust His wisdom and His love, knowing His thoughts toward His children are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give hope for the future.

So we are praying for your friend's friend who has the clot on the brain, that the Lord would guide the hands and wisdom of the neurosurgeon and those caring for her, that He would bring healing according to His perfect will, and that He would surround her and all who love her with His calm and comfort. We are also praying for you as you see the hematologist and await results from your blood work, that the Lord would give you peace as your mind stays on Him, that He would give clarity to your doctors, and that the report would be encouraging. May you both know His presence very near, and may His peace keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you call upon Him and trust Him to take care of what you have placed in His hands.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting up your friends best friend who was found to have a blood clot on her brain and her appointment with the neurosurgeon this week, asking the Lord to guide the doctors and bring complete healing and restoration. We have also been lifting up you and your appointment with the hematologist and your recent blood work, praying that the results would show no concerns and that the Lord would grant you peace while you wait.

We continue to trust in the Lord as our healer as it is written in Jeremiah 30:17. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ. We pray for healing, comfort and peace for you and for your friends best friend in Jesus Name, Amen.
