We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for financial provision and protection from evil. First, we must acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above (James 1:17), and it is in His perfect will that we trust—not in luck, chance, or worldly schemes. The Lord promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19), but we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are seeking His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and not placing money or security above Him.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression that whispers threats of "bad things" happening. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the authority of Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15). We command every assignment of darkness against this family to be broken in Jesus’ name! The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him we trust (Psalm 91:2). No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers and protects this household.
Yet we must also address the reality of spiritual warfare. Are there areas of unforgiveness, unrepentant sin, or idolatry (such as the love of money or reliance on anything other than God) that could be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27)? We encourage you to search your heart, confess any known sin, and walk in obedience to God’s Word. The enemy flees when we resist him, steadfast in the faith (James 4:7).
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we lift up this dear one and their family, asking for Your provision in their time of financial need. You know every detail of their situation, and we trust You to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to believe in Your promises even when circumstances seem impossible.
Father, we also stand against the schemes of the devil. We rebuke every spirit of poverty, lack, fear, and destruction assigned to this family. We break every curse and generational stronghold in the name of Jesus, declaring that this family is covered by the blood of the Lamb and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them into the light (Ephesians 5:11).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or area of disobedience, reveal it so it can be repented of and forsaken. Cleanse this family with the blood of Jesus and restore them to right fellowship with You. Teach them to walk in Your ways, to give generously, and to trust You completely. May they find their security in You alone, not in wealth or possessions.
We declare that this family is blessed and highly favored by the Lord. No evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We thank You for Your faithfulness, Lord, and we choose to praise You even before we see the answer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so do not hesitate to reach out to your local church for prayer and support. Continue to meditate on God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you—you need only to be still and trust Him (Exodus 14:14).
