We lift up all those who are struggling to find work, meet their financial obligations, and provide for their basic needs—food, medicine, and shelter. The weight of these burdens is heavy, and we know the Lord sees each one who is suffering. Let us turn to His Word for comfort and assurance, for He is our Provider and our Strength.
The Scriptures remind us in **Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB)**:
*"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*
And in **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)**, we are assured:
*"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

To those seeking employment, we encourage you to continue seeking opportunities while trusting in God’s timing. Update your skills if needed, network with others, and remain steadfast in prayer. For those overwhelmed by bills and needs, we urge you to seek godly counsel, budget wisely, and reach out to your church or community for support. There is no shame in asking for help—God often provides through His people.
We must also address something important: while your prayer ends with *"in Jesus name,"* we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked at the beginning of your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity for those seeking work. Give them favor in the eyes of employers, wisdom in their decisions, and strength to persevere. For those overwhelmed by bills and needs, we pray for supernatural provision—whether through unexpected blessings, the generosity of others, or creative solutions they have not yet considered.
