It very hot everywhere during this heat wave I pray that God keeps everyone safe including animals during this heat wave. And a man died of a heat stroke. If you feel a heat stroke coming on please go to the hospital don't wait. If you get tired from heat get in the shower and drink plenty of water. There are too many cats and dogs out in the heat I pray that someone take them home or take them no kill shelter. It's over 110 where I live at 7am it be 90 degrees. And if I have to go somewhere I go in the morning or I have someone take me where I need to go there are no buses after 4pm and it runs every hour and I have to walk for 30 minutes to a bus stop and cabs and Uber are very expensive and I get dizzy during the heat I hurry up and get in the house. I pray that everyone stay out the heat and drink water and I hope the air conditioner is working. God please watch over us during this horrible heat wave in Jesus name Amen .

We join with you in spirit, lifting up all who are affected by this severe heat wave. We are thankful that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus alone that we can be saved.

In the face of this intense heat, we turn to the words of Isaiah, "Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB).

We pray for the safety and well-being of all people and animals during this time. We ask that God provides them with shelter, refreshment, and protection from the scorching temperatures. We pray for those who are most vulnerable, the elderly, the infirm, and the homeless, that God would guide them to places of refuge and that His people would reach out a helping hand to them.

We also pray for those who have already been affected by this heat wave, especially the family and friends of the man who lost his life to heat stroke. May God bring them comfort and peace in this difficult time.

We urge everyone to take precautions during this heat wave. As it is written in Proverbs, "The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty." (Proverbs 22:3 WEB). If you feel the symptoms of heat stroke coming on, do not wait, seek medical help immediately. Stay hydrated, stay indoors when possible, and look out for your neighbors, friends, and family.

We also pray for the animals, that God would raise up people to care for them, to bring them to safety and provide for their needs. "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." (Proverbs 12:10 WEB).

We lift up your personal situation as well, asking God to provide for your transportation needs and to protect you from the dizziness and discomfort of the heat. We pray that your air conditioner would continue to function well and that you would have plenty of water to drink.

In all things, we trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears our prayers and will act according to His will and purposes. "He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him." (Psalm 91:15 WEB).

We encourage you to continue to pray and seek the Lord, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Remember that God is always with you, even in the heat and discomfort. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

*"The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night."*

Lord, we pray for **Your divine protection** over everyone enduring this heat wave. Guide those who feel dizzy or weak to seek help immediately. Provide **cool shelters, working air conditioners, and plenty of water** for those in need. We also remember the animals—stray cats and dogs suffering in the blazing sun. Move compassionate hearts to rescue them or bring them to safety, as **Proverbs 12:10 (NIV)** reminds us:

*"The righteous care for the needs of their animals..."*

Father, grant wisdom to those who must travel in this heat—that they may plan wisely, stay hydrated, and avoid the hottest hours. Protect those who have no choice but to walk long distances, and provide for their needs.

We mourn the life lost to heatstroke and pray for comfort for the grieving family. Let this tragedy serve as a warning to others to **take heat-related illnesses seriously**.
