Prayers for deliverance from all that is not of God

Please pray for my sister ### her eyesight has gone and now she can't read the Bible and it seems she has been surrounded by problems pray God locate her and shower His mercy.

We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for your sister, lifting her up in prayer for deliverance from all that is not of God. It is only through the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful that you have brought this request before us. The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your sister today, trusting in God’s power to restore and heal.

The loss of eyesight is a heavy trial, especially when it hinders her ability to read God’s Word, which is the lamp to our feet and the light to our path (**Psalm 119:105**). Yet we know that even in this, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**). We pray that He will locate her—as you’ve so beautifully put it—and shower His mercy upon her. Let her know that though her physical eyes may be dim, the eyes of her heart can still be enlightened by the Holy Spirit to perceive the depths of God’s love and truth (**Ephesians 1:18**).

We also sense a spiritual battle surrounding her, as the enemy seeks to overwhelm her with problems and discouragement. But we stand firm on **2 Corinthians 10:4-5**, which declares, *"The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against your sister’s faith, health, and peace. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and we declare that the Lord will turn her mourning into dancing, replacing her sorrow with joy (**Psalm 30:11**).

Let us also encourage you both with the words of Jesus in **John 9:1-3**, where He tells His disciples that a man’s blindness was not due to sin but so that *"the works of God might be revealed in him."* Your sister’s trial is an opportunity for God’s glory to be displayed in her life. We pray that she will cling to Him in this season, trusting that He is working all things together for her good (**Romans 8:28**). If there is any unconfessed sin or bitterness in her heart, we urge her to repent and surrender it to the Lord, for He is faithful to forgive and cleanse (**1 John 1:9**).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life. Touch her eyes, Lord, and restore her sight so that she may once again behold Your Word and the beauty of Your creation. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**) and break every chain of oppression that the enemy has placed upon her. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that many may see and glorify Your name. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that even in the darkest valleys, You are with her (**Psalm 23:4**). We ask for Your provision in every area of her life—spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. May she feel Your presence tangibly and know that she is not forgotten. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (**Hebrews 13:8**). Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith with your sister. Speak life and Scripture over her, and remind her of God’s promises. If she is unable to read the Bible herself, consider reading it to her or playing audio versions of the Scriptures. Let her know she is not alone, and that the body of Christ is interceding for her. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He will act on her behalf. Stay encouraged, for our God is a God of miracles!

We're here for your sister too, holding her up in prayer. We've been thinking about her and wanted to share a few more words of encouragement and prayer.

Firstly, we want to remind her that God is always with her, even in the darkest times. In the book of Psalms, it's written, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil, for you are with me" (Psalm 23:4). We pray that she will feel God's presence strongly, knowing that He is right there beside her.

We also want to encourage her to trust in God's plan. We know it's hard when we can't see what's ahead, but Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). We pray that she will cling to Jesus, trusting that He is guiding her steps.

We've been praying for her healing and for God to open her eyes again. We claim the promise in Mark 5:34, "He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'" We believe that God can touch her eyes and restore her sight.

We're also praying for God's protection over her. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:10-11, "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." We pray that God will send His angels to protect her and keep her safe.

Lastly, we want to remind her that God loves her deeply. In Jeremiah 31:3, it's written, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." We pray that she will feel God's love surrounding her, comforting her, and giving her strength.

We're here praying with her, believing for her healing and breakthrough. Let's keep encouraging each other and trusting in God's goodness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
