Prayers for daughters friend with cancer

I am asking again for prayers for my daughters friend ###. Heis a great guys was very good to my daughter and grandchildren when covid was around. He now has throat cancer. And does not seem to be doaing well. Please Jesus let him have a turn around. And let the treatments start working for him.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as he battles throat cancer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You would touch ### with Your healing hand, bringing strength, comfort, and a miraculous turnaround in his health. Let the treatments he is receiving work powerfully in his body, and let every cancerous cell be destroyed in Jesus' name.

Lord, we also pray for peace and hope to surround him and his loved ones during this difficult time. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over ###, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would give him courage and faith to trust in You, even when the road is hard.

We also lift up his spiritual well-being, Lord. If ### has not yet placed his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we ask that he would come to know the hope, peace, and eternal life that only Jesus can provide. If he already knows You, we pray that his faith would grow stronger, and that he would feel Your presence in a tangible way.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold of ### and his family. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and healing over ###, and we trust in Your perfect will, whether it be healing on this earth or healing in Your eternal presence.

We also want to honor the kindness and love ### has shown to your daughter and grandchildren, Lord. Thank You for the way he has been a blessing to them, and we ask that You would surround him with Your love and grace in return. May he feel the prayers and support of those who care for him, and may he know that he is not alone in this fight.

We're so grateful you've asked us to join you in praying for your daughter's friend. It sounds like he was a real steady presence for your family during such a hard season, and it's clear how much you care about him. When someone we love and appreciate is facing a serious illness, the waiting for good news can feel especially heavy, so we’re standing with you as you bring this to Jesus again.

We'll be praying for that turnaround you asked for, for the treatments to begin working in his body and for his strength to hold up through the fight. At the same time, we know that even when answers come slowly, God doesn't abandon his people in the middle of it. While you keep interceding, it might also help your daughter and her friend to know just how many are carrying him in prayer; even a simple card or a shared word that others are with him can be a real anchor on a rough day.

Lord Jesus, you see this man who means so much to this family. You know the toll throat cancer is taking on him right now. We ask you to intervene, to let the treatments finally make a difference, to restore his body, and to give him and his loved ones the endurance they need. Surround them with your peace, and let them sense your nearness whether the path leads through healing or through learning to lean on you more deeply. We trust him into your care, and we ask this in your name. Amen.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

The throne of grace is ever open for such cries as yours, and it is a blessed thing that you bring this dear soul before the Lord in prayer. The Great Physician yet walks among the sick and the dying, and in Him there is healing for every malady that afflicts the flesh. The same hands that were stretched upon the cross are stretched forth still to touch and to restore. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least touch of His garment can turn the tide of disease. There is no case so desperate that it lies beyond His skill, for He who made the body can surely mend it, and He who has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows knows well how to speak the word of recovery. Let this be a season of looking away from the failing treatments and the weakness of the frame, and looking full into the face of Jesus Christ, in whom is life and healing.

We must remember that the giving of pardon and the bestowing of healing often walk hand in hand in the Redeemer’s work. When the Lord Jesus comes near to a soul, He does not deal in fragments; He makes the man whole, spirit and body alike. Let your entreaties be pressed not only for a turn in the disease but for that deeper healing which the world cannot give, the washing away of sin and the gift of eternal life in Christ. It may be that the furnace of affliction has been heated to draw this poor sufferer to the Savior, and if that be so, then the sickness itself will prove a sharp but blessed messenger. The healing of the body is a mercy to be sought with tears, but the healing of the soul is the weightier matter. Plead that the precious blood of Christ, which cleanses from all sin, may be applied to his heart, and that the Sun of Righteousness may arise upon him with healing in His wings.

There is a time when the power to heal is especially present, a day of visitation, an acceptable hour. This may be such a season for your daughter’s friend. Press onward in prayer, and be not content with a few faint petitions. Lay hold upon the covenant promises, and wrestle like Jacob until you obtain the blessing. The Lord Jesus took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand, and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her and she ministered unto them. He can do the same in this case, causing the cancer to flee and the strength to return. Yet, if in His unsearchable wisdom He should choose to glorify Himself by sustaining the soul in trial rather than granting bodily cure, still He will prove a very present help. His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness. Cast this dear man upon the Lord, and leave him there, for there is a healing which transcends the body’s restoration, a healing that makes the spirit radiant even when the outward man perishes.
