Prayers for cancer Remission

We join with you in prayer for this precious woman and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you before the throne of grace. Our hearts ache with the waiting and uncertainty that comes with cancer and with medical appointments, and we want her to know she is not alone today. We are lifting her up together and asking our Heavenly Father to grant her peace and strength as she goes into this appointment and to continue His healing work in her body so that the cancer remains in remission.
We are reminded of how deeply God cares for our bodies and our spirits. In Psalm 103:2-3 we read that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17 He promises I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 41:10 where He tells us Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. For the anxiety of today we hold onto Philippians 4:6-7 which teaches us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray together now. Father we come before You in the name of Jesus and we lift this dear one to You. We ask that You would let this appointment be filled with Your peace and that You would give strength and calm to her heart and mind. We ask that You would guide the hands and eyes of the doctors and that the results would show that the cancer remains in remission. We ask for continued health and restoration for her body according to Your perfect will, and that You would be glorified in her healing. We pray that she and those who love her would feel Your presence very near today and that Your peace would guard their hearts. We trust You as our healer and our comforter and we place her fully in Your loving hands. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we gently want to share how important He is to our prayers. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we learn There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we turn from our sins and believe that Jesus died for us and rose again, and by calling on His name we are saved and made children of God as Romans 10:9 teaches. If you have not yet put your trust in Him we encourage you to do so today, and if you already have we rejoice with you and continue to approach God with confidence through Christ. We will keep praying with you for complete healing, for sustained remission, and for enduring strength and hope in the days ahead.

We join you in bringing this dear one before the throne of grace today and we count it a privilege to pray with you for her.
We ask our gracious Father to keep her in that perfect peace which He gives to those whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. Even with duties pressing and sorrows surging round, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace can guard the heart through the waiting and the appointment this day.
We pray that the Lord who gives power to the faint and to them that have no might increases strength would be very near to her. Whenever the burden feels beyond our own strength, we are taught to stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength, and to wait upon the Lord, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. May He renew hers and yours as you look to Him, and be your strength every morning and your salvation in the time of trouble.
We thank Him for the mercy of remission and we entreat Him to continue His healing hand upon her. There is abundance of healing virtue in Christ, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the least touch of Him brings life and restoration. We ask that He would graciously keep this cancer in remission, grant wisdom to all who care for her, and give calm and courage in the appointment today.
We lay her at the feet of Jesus who receives all who come to Him and will in no wise cast them out, trusting His wise and loving will to do what is best. May you both know His presence and His perfect peace in this hour. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life.
