My grandaughter has been in a lot of pain with her knee. And her leg keeps getting bigger. They have run all kinds of tests. And they say she needs an MRI. They had tried it one other time and she became very scared. And they were not able to do it. She is now scheduled for another one on Dec 12th. My husband is going to go in with her this time. Please Jesus let her be able to complete this. And I pray they find what is causing it. And it will be treatable. They had wanted to put her under for the MRI but she does not do well with anesthesia. And she also has a bad heart. I pray there is something that they can do so she can complete this.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your granddaughter and her ongoing struggle with pain and swelling in her knee. Father God, we know that You see every tear and hear every cry, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Lord, we claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are working even now to bring clarity and healing to her situation.

We pray specifically for the upcoming MRI on December 12th. Father, we ask that You calm her fears and anxieties, replacing them with Your perfect peace. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, let this peace guard her heart and mind as she prepares for this test. We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team, that they may find the root cause of her pain and swelling and that it will be treatable.

We understand the concerns about anesthesia due to her heart condition, and we ask for Your protection and guidance in this area. Lord, if there is a way for her to complete the MRI without compromising her health, we pray that You would make it clear to her doctors. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We trust in Your guidance and provision for her care.

We also want to encourage you and your family to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Psalm 34:17-18 assures us, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you and your granddaughter, and He is faithful to hear your prayers.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child to You, asking for Your healing, comfort, and peace. We pray that she would feel Your presence with her, especially during the MRI, and that she would find strength in You. We ask that You guide the hands of her doctors and give them wisdom to provide the best care possible. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We are so grateful you shared your heart and the deep concern for your granddaughter with us. It has been our privilege to lift her, her health, and this upcoming MRI to the Lord in prayer. We have prayed earnestly for her comfort, for her fear to be calmed, and for the peace of Christ to surround her during this procedure. We asked our Heavenly Father for wisdom for the medical team, that they would find the root of her pain and that whatever is causing her leg to swell would be treatable. We also prayed specifically for her heart condition and the challenges with anesthesia, asking that God would provide a way for her to complete the MRI safely and without distress.
