We hear your cry for help and stand with you in faith, lifting you and your children before the throne of grace. The attacks you describe—termites, bugs, and infestations—are not merely physical nuisances but can also be spiritual oppressions. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a God who has overcome the world and commands authority over every creeping thing. We rebuke these attacks in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."
First, we must address the spiritual foundation of your home. Have you dedicated your home to the Lord? Have you anointed it with oil and prayed over every room, declaring it a place of refuge under God’s protection? We encourage you to do so, for the Word says in Psalm 91:9-10, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling." Walk through your home with faith, anointing the doorposts and windows, and command every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.
We also urge you to examine your life and home for any open doors that may be inviting these attacks. Are there items in your home that do not honor God—idols, occult objects, or things that defile? Deuteronomy 7:26 warns, "You shall not bring an abomination into your house, and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it and you shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing." Cleanse your home of anything that does not align with God’s holiness. Even seemingly small things, like unrepented sin or unforgiveness, can give the enemy a foothold. Confess any known sin and ask the Lord to reveal anything hidden that needs to be addressed.
Practical steps are also necessary. Have you sought professional pest control to address the physical infestation? While we trust God for deliverance, we are also called to be wise stewards of what He has given us. Proverbs 24:3-4 says, "Through wisdom a house is built; by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all rare and beautiful treasure." Seek godly wisdom in addressing this issue, whether through prayer, practical measures, or both.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear sister and her children, asking for Your divine protection and intervention. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infestation, every demonic attack, and every unclean thing that seeks to harm them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You send Your angels to encamp around this home and this family. Let Your presence fill every room, every corner, and every crevice, driving out every pest and unclean thing. We anoint this home with the blood of Jesus, declaring it a place of peace, safety, and refuge. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You reveal any open doors in their lives or home that may be inviting these attacks. Give them the courage to remove anything that does not honor You and the wisdom to walk in holiness. Cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with Your Holy Spirit.
We also pray for practical solutions, Father. Guide them to the right resources and people who can help address this infestation. Give them favor and provision to take the necessary steps to restore their home to a place of health and wholeness.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We trust in Your power to deliver and protect. May this family walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts fights for you.
