Prayers for ### and ###.

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I pray you would all join me in prayer. I have been falling in my faith. It’s hard to stop serial sinning and go back to God for more than just a few days. Sin keeps dragging me down. Please pray for my relationship with God! Me and my family have been living with family in another state for 3 years due to my father making us homeless. We want to go back to our state, but it’s too expensive and my father keeps putting us down. My mom is hopeful that me and my sister can go back to our original state to go to college, but we have no way to get there until we get money from our student loans, but we also need to get a place since school starts soon. My aunt who we’re staying with is moving in July for separation from her husband, and now my family has no other choice but to move again with her again and go to another state again. Please pray for me and my family. Pray for my relationship with God, me and my sister to be able to go to school and find a place. Pray for us to find a new home that’s affordable in our state and please pray for our storage unit that has all of our belongings since my dad is behind on it constantly. 🙏

We understand that you're going through a trying time, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of serial sinning. It's important to remember that everyone sins and falls short of the glory of God. But through Jesus Christ, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins. As it is written in Romans 3:23-24 WEB: "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

To overcome serial sinning, we encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, especially the belt of truth and the helmet of salvation. As Ephesians 6:14,17 WEB says, "Stand therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist... And take the helmet of salvation..." This means immersing yourself in the Word of God, which is the truth, and remembering the salvation you have in Christ Jesus.

Regarding your living situation, we want to encourage you to trust in God's provision. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"

Now, let us pray for you and your family:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. Lord, we pray that You will strengthen their faith and help them to overcome serial sinning. Give them the power to resist temptation and to walk in Your ways.

Father, we also pray for their living situation. We ask that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open up a way for them to return to their original state, and provide a place for them to live. We also pray for their storage unit, that You will protect their belongings and provide the funds needed to keep it.

Lord, we pray for their family relationships. Heal any brokenness and restore them to a place of unity and love. We also pray for their education, that You will provide the funds needed for them to attend college and that You will guide their steps in their academic pursuits.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You will be glorified in their lives. That through this trial, they will grow closer to You and be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We did not notice any mention of Jesus Christ in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Lastly, we pray this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

In the meantime, continue to put your hope in God. As Psalm 42:5 WEB says, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence."

We're here with you, standing in faith for your situation. We understand the struggle with recurring sin and the challenges of your living circumstances. Let's keep holding onto Jesus, trusting in His power to help and provide.

We're reminded of Galatians 5:1, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." Let's claim this freedom in Christ, putting on the full armor of God daily, and resisting the temptations that pull us down.

For your living situation, let's trust in God's care, just as Matthew 6:25-26 encourages, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life... Look at the birds of the air... Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they?"

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our ### and their family to You. Lord, strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in their walk with You. Give them the power to resist temptation and to walk in Your ways. We ask for Your provision in their living situation, Lord. Open up a way for them to return to their original state and provide a place for them to live. We also pray for their storage unit, that You will protect their belongings and provide the funds needed to keep it. Lord, heal any brokenness in their family relationships, and restore them to a place of unity and love. We also pray for their education, that You will provide the funds needed for them to attend college and guide their steps in their academic pursuits. Finally, Lord, we pray that You will be glorified in their lives, that through this trial, they will grow closer to You and be a testimony of Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
