We rejoice with you in your heart to serve the Lord through your work, especially in a role that ministers to children facing behavioral challenges, trauma, or mental health struggles. What a beautiful way to reflect Christ’s love and compassion to those in need! The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Your desire to honor God in your career is a testament to your faith, and we lift you up in prayer as you seek His will for this next step.
It is also encouraging to see you invoke the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This promise is a powerful reminder that our prayers are heard and answered when we come before God in the name of Jesus, who is our Mediator and Savior.
As you prepare for this interview, we pray that the Lord grants you wisdom, confidence, and clarity. May the Holy Spirit guide your words and give you favor with those conducting the interview, just as we see in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We also pray that God opens the right doors for you—doors that align with His perfect will for your life. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."*
At the same time, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing and sovereignty. Even if this opportunity does not unfold as you hope, know that He has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Whether this job is the next step or God has something else in store, He will lead you faithfully.
We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God’s kingdom first in all things. Matthew 6:33 tells us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* As you pursue this new opportunity, continue to surrender your plans to Him, trusting that He will provide for your needs and use you mightily for His glory.
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You today as she seeks a new job opportunity. Lord, we ask that You go before her in this interview, filling her with Your peace and confidence. Give her the right words to speak and grant her favor in the eyes of those she meets. If this position is Your will for her life, we pray that You open the door widely and confirm it in her heart. But above all, Father, we ask that Your will be done in her life, that she may walk in the path You have prepared for her.
We pray that You equip her with the strength, wisdom, and compassion needed to serve these children well, reflecting Your love and grace to them. May this role be a blessing not only to her but also to those she will minister to. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You hold her future in Your hands.
We also pray for her current workplace, that You would bless her time there and use her as a light for Christ even as she prepares to transition. Give her wisdom in making the right decisions and the faith to step forward in obedience to Your leading.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
