We join you in gratitude for the opportunity to interview for this role, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above. It is right to place your trust in Him, for He holds your future and knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that the hiring team would indeed see the skills, qualifications, and godly character the Lord has developed in you, for it is He who equips and prepares His children for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).
Father, we ask that You grant our brother/sister patience as they wait. The waiting season can be difficult, but we know that through it, You are refining their faith and teaching them to rely fully on You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find peace in Your presence, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also pray that no matter the outcome, You would fill their heart with joy—joy that is not dependent on circumstances but rooted in the unshakable truth of Your love and faithfulness. Remind them that their worth is not defined by a job title but by being Your beloved child, created in Your image for a purpose far greater than any role or position.
Lord, if this job is not part of Your perfect plan for them, we trust that You have something even better prepared. Close this door if it is not Your will, and open another that aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them the wisdom to discern Your leading and the courage to walk in obedience.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in their heart during this time. Instead, let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to wait on You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
May they continue to seek You first in all things, trusting that as they do, You will add all these things unto them (Matthew 6:33). We declare that their steps are ordered by You, and that You will direct their path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Thank You for hearing our prayer, and for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in them. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
