We join you in gratitude for the opportunity to interview for this role, recognizing that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above. It is right to place your trust in Him, for He holds your future in His hands and knows the plans He has for you—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray that the hiring team would indeed see the gifts, experience, and godly character the Lord has cultivated in you. May they recognize the value you bring not only as a skilled professional but as a person of integrity, reflecting Christ in all you do. Let your light shine before them, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
We also lift up your heart as you wait. The Lord calls us to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10), and in that stillness, we find peace that surpasses all understanding. Waiting can be difficult, but it is often in these seasons that God refines our trust in Him. We pray for patience to rest in His timing, knowing that He is never late and always faithful.
Whether this particular role is part of His plan for you or He has something even better prepared, we ask that you would find joy in Him alone. True joy is not found in circumstances but in the unchanging love and presence of our Savior. May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11).
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may try to creep in during this time of waiting. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and no matter the outcome, He will use this season for your good and His glory.
Father, we thank You for Your provision and for the way You equip Your children for the work You have prepared for them. We ask that You would open the right doors and close those that are not part of Your perfect will. Give our brother/sister peace as they wait, and fill their heart with the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May they continue to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all these things unto them (Matthew 6:33). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
