We rejoice with you in the miracles God has already performed in your life, your husband’s continued employment, his steps toward sobriety, and the restoration of communication in your marriage. Truly, the Lord is moving in ways that only He can, and we give Him all the glory! Your testimony reminds us of Philippians 1:6, which says, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." God is not finished with your family yet, and we stand with you in faith as He continues to work.

We lift up your husband’s job situation before the Lord, asking for divine intervention. Father, we pray that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide him with a new position that aligns with Your will, a place where he can thrive without the toxicity that has weighed on your family. Let his skills and gifts be recognized, and let his labor bring honor to You. We also pray for his continued sobriety, that You would strengthen him to resist temptation and fill him with Your peace and purpose. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your marriage is under the Lord’s protection, and we pray for wholeness, unity, and joy to be restored. Father, heal the wounds caused by past conflicts, and let Your love be the foundation of their relationship. Teach them to communicate with grace and patience, and let their home be a place of peace. We rebuke the enemy’s attempts to divide them and declare that what God has joined together, no man, or spirit, can separate (Mark 10:9). We also address the toxicity that has come from outside influences, particularly the sister-in-law whose actions do not align with godliness. We pray for wisdom for you and your husband to set healthy boundaries, as Scripture commands: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If she is involved in witchcraft or idolatry, we stand against those practices in Jesus’ name and pray for her repentance and salvation.

Lord, we ask for Your favor to surround your family like a shield. Open doors of blessing in your finances, relationships, and every area of life. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7), and let Your angels encamp around them to protect them from harm (Psalm 91:11). We also pray for unity among your in-laws, that any division would be replaced with love and understanding. May your husband be a peacemaker in his family, reflecting the heart of Christ.

Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every evil intention, every plot of the enemy, and every attempt to steal your inheritance is rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. We pray for repentance for those who have sought to harm you, that they would turn from their ways and encounter the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victories You’ve already given and trust You for the ones to come. Continue to work miracles in this family, and let Your name be glorified in every area of their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What a joy to read this update. We're genuinely celebrating with you, your husband kept his job against the odds, three days of sobriety, and he's reaching back toward you with a desire to make things right. These are not small mercies. When we've walked with someone's story through so many requests, it's a gift to pause and just say thank you with them.

We hear your heart for what still needs healing. The marriage is tender right now, especially with a newborn and the separation. His calling to say he misses you, that he sees what his sister has been doing, that he wants to protect you: that sounds like something real you can hold onto. It doesn't erase the past, but it's a door cracked open. We'll keep praying for steady rebuilding there, for safety as you navigate what reuniting looks like, and for wisdom about boundaries that protect your family's peace without cutting off what God might be doing.

On the practical side, with all the complexity around his sister and the spiritual dynamics you've described, we'd gently encourage you to have a wise pastor or mature Christian couple walk with you both. These layered family entanglements are hard to untangle alone, and having someone outside the storm can help you both see clearly and move in unity.

Let's pray:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for what You've already done, for a job preserved, for sobriety beginning, for a husband's heart turning home. Continue that work. Shield this marriage from every attack, bring stability to their finances, and open a door to a new job that brings provision and peace, not toxicity. Protect them from hidden harm and from those who would sow division. Surround this family with Your favor and send people who will be true blessings. In Jesus' name.

Great mercy has been shown you, and it is right to give thanks. When the Lord deals quietly with a raging storm, when a husband’s place is spared though ruin seemed certain, it is the finger of God. In all this, see that you sin not by unbelief or pride, but let your soul delight in the Almighty. He who stills the enemy and the avenger has given you this respite. Lift up your face unto Him with a glad heart.

The three days of your husband’s sobriety are drops before the shower. Bless the Lord, but do not let the serpent of self-confidence creep in. Remember Peter’s fall, and how sweetly Christ restored him. That same look of love is fixed upon your husband now; Jesus has an eye for him even in his wanderings. Pray that this turning be not a passing gleam, but a full restoration. Cling to the promise that God is a Husband to His people, faithful, tender, providing, and beseech Him to make your marriage a living picture of that union. Be patient. Be hopeful. Your husband’s words of longing and his resolve to guard you from harm are buds in the cold earth; if the Sun of Righteousness shine upon them, they will blossom.

Yet I must speak plainly: the sister-in-law and the hidden workings of darkness trouble me not a little. You do well to pray for protection from household enemies and for the overthrow of all evil intentions. But remember Job, when the Lord revealed Himself, Job abhorred himself, not his enemies. Let your highest prayer be for the woman’s repentance and salvation. God can make a witch into a worshipper, as He did with many of old. Turn the edge of your supplication toward mercy, not mere removal, and trust the righteous Judge to guard your inheritance and your future. He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Now to your requests for a happy, joyful marriage, for favour, for unity, for financial stability, these are not trifles. Spread them before the throne with order and argument, as Job desired. He longed to fill his mouth with reasons drawn from God’s own character and promises. Plead the blood of the covenant. Argue from the cross. Delight in the Almighty, and then lift up your face without spot. The quietness He gives drowns the noise of ten thousand foes.

Above all, watch that in these tender mercies you do not sin. It is the main thing. In every shift, from straits to plenty, from strife to peace, be lowly before Him. Abhor the pride and unbelief that lurk even in our best days, and trust with desperate tenacity, as Job did, though God’s words seemed to roar upon him. Whatever good thing has withered in your home, the Lord can restore. Believe it. Pray for full restoration, and while you wait, sing the songs He gives in the night, that others in the valley may hear and take courage.

Go forward then with thanksgiving. The Lord has done great things for you, and He will perfect that which concerneth you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heart overflows with thanksgiving, and rightly so, for the God who led captivity captive and gave gifts to men has begun to show His mighty hand in your household. The prophet’s song, “Thou hast gone up on high, Thou hast led captivity captive,” is fulfilled in Christ, who came to preach deliverance to captives. That your husband has remained sober three days is a glimpse of that deliverance; yet the battle is not ended. The desire for drink is a wicked master, and like the absurd longing to fly through the air, it cannot be quenched by feeding it. No, the mind must be convinced that it seeks the impossible, peace from a bottle, and so draw back from the desire entirely. Pray earnestly that the Father, who revealed the truth to Peter, would reveal to your husband that only in Christ is the thirst truly satisfied.

Give thanks also for the preservation of his employment. When we bear losses with gratitude, God often restores them; and if He does not, the reward is greater still. The stress and toxicity of the workplace are a fiery trial, but remember Job: after he had wrestled nobly, God restored to him double. So let not your heart cling to any human provision. The love of money, like an evil humor on the eye, thickens the cloud of blindness. Whether he keeps this job or finds another, trust that the Lord of hosts fights for you.

You speak of your husband’s turning, his words of missing you and wanting to make things right. This is precious, but let it bear fruit in repentance. Love towards a spouse is a debt we owe, for we are members one of another. Yet that love must be guarded by holiness. As the Apostle says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness.” Holiness in marriage means chaste living, the marriage bed undefiled, which preserves the faith from the filth of this world. The separation you endured was painful, but if it wakes him to soberness and godly sorrow, the gain is eternal. However, be not hasty to trust mere words; time will prove if his resolve is from human affection or divine revelation. John the Baptist, speaking of the Lord, said repeatedly, “I knew Him not,” though they were kin, so that his testimony might be free from favoritism and grounded in heaven. So too, your husband’s change must be rooted not in fleeting emotion or fear of losing comfort, but in the fear of God.

Concerning his sister, you are wise to seek protection. One who hides idolatry and witchcraft under the name of friendship is not a peacemaker but a poisoner of souls. The same John who knew not Christ by fleshly kinship reminds us that true spiritual bond comes from above, not from blood. You owe her no fellowship in her evil works. Set firm, healthy boundaries, and pray for her repentance, that the spell of darkness be broken and she be taken captive out of the snare of the devil. As for inheritance and household enemies, fear not: “He shall divide the spoils of the strong.” All that belongs to the wicked will be turned for your good, for the Lord fights for you. But seek no “destiny helpers” among men; your only Helper is the Lord who made heaven and earth. The notion of finding a man to be a blessing is often a snare. Look to Christ alone.

Stand fast, then, in thanksgiving and in supplication. Let your marriage be marked by peace and purity, your finances by contentment, your home by prayer. The enemy may rage, but the Lion of Judah has prevailed. The same voice that calms the raging sea can still every storm in your life. Let your request be made known to God with praise, and the God of peace will sanctify you wholly, spirit, soul, and body.

I can hear the joy and relief in your words as you recount what God has been doing. What a privilege to see miracles unfold right where things seemed impossible, your husband keeping his job, the change in his heart toward sobriety, his desire to make things right and protect your marriage. Give God the praise, for every good gift comes from Him. And when a spouse turns from harmful patterns, even for a few days, it is a mercy meant to lead us to hope.

You are wise to keep asking for prayer for the job situation and for a new, healthier position. The stress and the toxic environment are real, and God knows our frame. Like an ancient sufferer who lost so much yet refused to curse the Lord, you are learning that the same God who gives good also walks with us through seasons of loss, confusion, and family strife. Not every hardship comes because we have done something wrong; sometimes the enemy sifts us simply because he hates our faith. The friends of that ancient man misjudged him entirely, they saw only the surface, not the full story. So hold fast to what you know of God’s character when circumstances and well-meaning voices try to plant doubt.

The reconciliation you describe, with your husband calling and expressing love, missing you, and wanting to set things right, is a tender answer to prayer. Yet it’s also true that family fractures, particularly when relatives sow discord, can cut deep. Your request concerning a relative who hides behind friendship while practicing things that bring spiritual harm, that is not paranoia. The Scriptures give us words for those who secretly oppose God’s ways, and they call us to pray for protection, for boundaries, and for their repentance. Keep praying for salvation, for healthy distance, and for the safeguarding of what rightfully belongs to your household. God sees every hidden scheme, and He can turn what the enemy meant for evil into something that actually works for your good.

When you ask for a happy, joyful marriage and for wholeness in every area, you are reaching toward the very things that our souls truly need. The old story describes a man who cried out for a mediator, someone to stand between him and God, to lay a hand on both and bridge the awful gap. Job’s cry has found its answer in Jesus Christ. We can now approach God with confidence because Christ touches heaven and earth. He does not merely observe our pain from a distance; He entered it, carried it, and rose again to give us a living hope. Let that hope anchor your marriage, your finances, and your future.

Keep bringing these requests before the Lord: favor with destiny helpers, peace that reigns over your home, and the undoing of every evil intention. You are not asking for trivial things. God is not wearied by your prayers; He invites you to cast every care upon Him. When the path seems narrow and the pressures mount, remember that restrictions from His hand often serve to protect us from ditches we cannot see. His “no” to one thing may be the very fence that keeps your family from ruin.

So give thanks. Continue to lift up the job, the marriage, the sobriety, the relationships with extended family, and the spiritual warfare. Trust that the God who began a good work in your midst will carry it on to completion. He is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, and He delights to do it for His own glory.

We are so deeply moved by your testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life and in your marriage. It is a true joy to stand with you in prayer and to now witness the miracles He is working in the areas that once seemed impossible. Your gratitude is a powerful reminder of how God moves when we bring our burdens to Him in faith.

We rejoice with you over your husband’s continued employment, his new project assignment, and the precious steps he is taking toward sobriety and reconciliation. Three days of sobriety is a victory worth celebrating, and we believe God will continue to strengthen him as he seeks to honor you and your family. The way he is reaching out to you, expressing his love, and taking responsibility for the peace in your home is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in his heart. We will continue to lift him up, asking the Lord to open doors for a new job—one that brings stability, joy, and freedom from toxic environments.

We also thank God for the wisdom He gave you to create space for your newborn and your family’s well-being. The separation was not easy, but it has become a pathway for healing and restoration. We pray that as you and your husband rebuild trust, the Lord will knit your hearts together in unity, joy, and purpose. May your marriage reflect the love and grace of Christ more and more each day.

We will keep praying for:
- **Wholeness and stability** in your marriage, finances, and home, with divine protection over every area of your lives.
- **God’s special favor** to surround you, connecting you with destiny helpers and blessings that align with His perfect will.
- **Protection from all evil intentions**, that every plan of the enemy would be exposed, turned around for your good, and that those who seek to harm would come to repentance.
- **Healthy boundaries** with your sister-in-law, that the Lord would break every chain of toxicity, confusion, and spiritual bondage in your family. May she encounter the love of Jesus in a way that transforms her heart.
- **Unity and favor** in all your relationships, especially with in-laws, and that the peace of God would guard your home, marriage, and finances for His glory.

What a privilege it is to partner with you in prayer and to see how God is answering in such powerful ways. If there are new developments or specific areas where you’d like us to focus our prayers, please share them so we can continue to stand with you. We encourage you to keep praising Him for every breakthrough, big or small, and to trust that He who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

May the Lord continue to bless you, your husband, and your children with His presence, provision, and peace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
