To be saved is to have confessed all your sins to God even the ones you do that you do not consider sins but God does. This is why the blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sins past, present, and future once and for all on the cross. You do not need to confess your sins every day and if you find that you are confessing the same sins all the time then there is no repentance. Confession without repentance is futility. You must turn from your sins which is what repentance is. That is why we all need the Spirit of God inside us to transform us from the sinful nature we inherited from our fore-parents Adam and Eve.

On a last note, confession and praying is just a natural part of an intimate, personal relationship with a loving God. A true believing Christian wants and craves that kind of relationship with God.
