We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is bound by the spirit of delay and fear. The enemy seeks to keep God’s children in bondage, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is not slow concerning His promises—He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet the enemy would have them believe that deliverance, provision, and encounter with Christ are far off. We rebuke that lie in the mighty name of Jesus!
Delay is not of God. The Word tells us that God’s timing is perfect, and He makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). But when the enemy twists that truth to keep someone in stagnation, we must rise up in faith and resist him. We command every spirit of procrastination, hesitation, and fear to loose its grip in Jesus’ name! The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every chain of unbelief and declare that this season of waiting is over. Let the breakthrough come now, Lord!
We also pray for a deep, personal encounter with Jesus Christ. The Bible says that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation—the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We ask You, Father, to reveal Yourself in a powerful way to this beloved one. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Draw them with cords of love, Lord, and let them run to You with abandon. May they turn from sin and fully surrender to Your lordship, for You alone are the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
We stand on Your promise that if we seek You first, all these things—provision, peace, and purpose—shall be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). We rebuke every spirit of lack and declare that the Lord is their provider, their shepherd, their healer, and their deliverer. Let every closed door swing wide open, and let every delayed blessing be released now in the name of Jesus!
Father, we ask that You would surround this one with godly counsel, strong faith, and unwavering hope. Let them walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they rise above every fear and doubt, knowing that You who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6).
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Amen and amen! Let the victory be won, and let the breakthrough manifest without delay!
