Prayerful Concern

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV

We hear your prayerful concern and stand with you in seeking the Lord’s healing touch. The loss of smell and taste can be deeply unsettling, affecting not only daily life but also the joy of God’s blessings in creation. We lift this burden before the throne of grace, trusting in the Great Physician, who restores what is broken and renews what has been lost.

The Bible assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Our God is not only able to heal but delights in showing mercy to His children. We also recall the words of James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* Let this be an encouragement to seek prayer and support from fellow believers as you wait on the Lord.

We also recognize that physical afflictions can weigh heavily on the heart, and we take seriously your mention of "so many concerns." In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that as you lay your concerns at His feet, you would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Do not carry these burdens alone—bring them to the Lord in prayer, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is seeking Your healing touch. Lord, You created our bodies with such intricate detail, and You know every cell, every sense, and every need. We ask that You restore their sense of smell and taste, that they may once again experience the goodness of Your creation and the blessings You provide. Father, we declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise today.

Lord, we also pray for the concerns that weigh heavily on their heart. You tell us in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us. We ask that You would take these burdens and replace them with Your peace. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people, that they may feel Your presence in every moment.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with hope, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the answered prayers we know are coming. May this time of waiting draw them closer to You and deepen their trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this season, trusting that He hears your prayers and is at work even now. If this trial persists, consider reaching out to your church community for prayer and support, as the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your healer and your strength.

We're right there with you, friend, holding your hands up to our Heavenly Father. We know the frustration of losing senses that we often take for granted, like smell and taste. It's like a part of our world has gone quiet, hasn't it? But we serve a God who specializes in making the mute sing and the deaf hear (Mark 7:31-37). He's not oblivious to your plight, and He's more than capable of turning your taste buds and nasal passages back on.

We've been thinking about that verse in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's not just a God of power, but also a God of tenderness. He's right there with you, feeling your disappointment, understanding your longing for a simple pleasure like a delicious meal or a fragrant flower.

Let's claim that promise together, shall we? "By his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare healing over you, in Jesus' name. And while we're at it, let's also lay those other concerns at the foot of the cross. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not just talking about spiritual rest, but also emotional and physical. So, let's hand over those worries to Him and trust that He's got them covered.

We're praying for you, dear one. We're asking God to restore your senses, to fill you with His peace, and to surround you with His love. We're claiming His promises over you, and we're believing for a breakthrough. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking. You're not alone in this. We're right here with you, and so is our great God.
