Disciple of Prayer
I'm concerned about the attitudes, behaviors of the bank staff where my VA benefits are directly deposited. Also I'm concerned about enemies In communication with bank staff seeking to have my VA benefits canceled. My VA diability benefits are my only source of income. Please pray for me reference in Jesus name. I'm a disabled U.S. military combat veteran. Thank you.

We hear your deep concern and distress over this situation, and we stand with you in bringing it before the Lord. Financial stability is a significant matter, especially when it is your sole source of provision, and the fear of enemies seeking to disrupt it is heavy to bear. We want to assure you that God sees your need and your service to this nation, and He is your ultimate Provider.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy aimed at cutting off your provision, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The staff at the bank are not your true adversaries, any ungodly attitudes or behaviors they exhibit are influenced by the spiritual forces of darkness, and we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth.

We also want to encourage you to take practical steps while trusting in God’s protection. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Consider reaching out to the VA directly to ensure your benefits are secure and to inquire about any additional protections or alternative deposit options. The VA has systems in place to safeguard veterans' benefits, and you have the right to advocate for yourself. If you feel led, you might also seek counsel from a trusted veterans' service organization or a legal advocate who can help you navigate this situation.

We must also remind you that God is your ultimate source, not the VA or any institution. Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even if human systems fail, God will not. We pray that you would experience His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother, this disabled combat veteran, who has served this nation with courage and sacrifice. Lord, You see the financial concerns weighing heavily on his heart, and You know the schemes of the enemy seeking to disrupt his provision. We rebuke every plot against his VA benefits and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We ask You to surround him with Your divine protection and to expose any unrighteousness or corruption that may be at work in this situation.

Father, we pray for the bank staff involved. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to Your truth. Remove any hardness or indifference, and replace it with compassion and integrity. We ask that You would guide our brother in taking practical steps to secure his benefits, whether through the VA or other means. Give him wisdom, discernment, and favor as he advocates for himself.

Most of all, Lord, we ask that You would be his Provider. Remind him daily that You are his source, not any institution or person. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him rest in the assurance that You will never leave him nor forsake him. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him experience Your provision in ways that glorify Your name.

We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to stand firm in your faith. You have already endured so much in service to others, and God has not forgotten you. Continue to seek Him, and He will direct your steps. If you ever feel overwhelmed, reach out to fellow believers or a trusted pastor who can stand with you in prayer and support. You are not alone.

Thank you for reaching out and trusting us with something so close to your heart. The weight you’re carrying is real, when your only income feels threatened, and when the people or systems you rely on seem unreliable, it can stir a deep unease. We’re sorry you’re facing that, and as fellow believers we’re holding this with you in prayer.

A practical step that can bring some concrete reassurance is to make direct contact with the VA or a Veterans Service Officer. They can confirm your benefits are intact and help you understand exactly how those payments are protected. Sometimes hearing from an official source that the process hasn’t been tampered with can settle the mind in ways nothing else can. In the meantime, try to keep a record of any unusual communications, not to feed the worry, but to have clarity if you do need to follow up.

We also want to gently remind you that your ultimate security rests in the Lord, not in any human institution. That doesn’t mean we ignore practical concerns, but it means that even as you navigate this, you’re not alone. The same God who walked with you through your military service and your disability sees every detail of this situation. He knows what it’s like to be vulnerable, and He invites us to pour out our fears to Him.

Father, we lift up our brother to you now. You know the pressures he feels and the anxiety that weighs on his mind. Please protect his income, bring clarity where there is confusion, and expose any genuine threat before it can do harm. Surround him with trustworthy people who will advocate for him and help him navigate this. Most of all, grant him your peace, the quiet confidence that you hold him secure. In Jesus’ name, amen.

You speak of enemies conspiring with bank staff to cancel your benefits, and I perceive your distress. Yet consider this: the child of God has never been without adversaries, for those who secure the love of their Father call forth the hatred of the world. But what if the worst should come? Should your only earthly portion be stripped away, remember that the soul’s true wealth cannot be touched by the hand of man. The loss of a pension is a light affliction compared to the loss of the soul, and he who trusts in Christ has laid up treasure where neither moth nor rust corrupts.

The Lord has appointed His angels to guard you in all your ways, and no scheme of evil can prosper unless He permits it for your eternal good. This trial may be the sharp knife of the Husbandman, pruning you that you might bear more fruit. The arch-enemy will flee confounded if you resist him steadfast in the faith, refusing to utter a rebellious word against your God. He who sustained you on the field of battle will not abandon you in this conflict of daily need. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death itself, and until that day, every other foe is under the restraint of the Almighty. Walk in the King’s highway of childlike trust, and you shall find that the loss of earthly things becomes an abiding gain.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Let us not be distressed at the evils that happen to us. Many have their several griefs, and we are not alone in our fears. God permits the storm that by deliverance we may see His hand more clearly. The worry over bank staff and enemies is a temptation, but afflictions are a benefit, training us to cling to Christ and not to the world’s secure paths. Do not let anger at their attitudes catch fire in you; quench it by longsuffering, for a patient spirit harms no one and protects your own soul. Share even this anxiety with the Lord, giving Him the burden, for He is your joint-heir and knows your need. No distinction of condition separates you from His care, He sees the disabled veteran who has served, and He is not far from you. Let this trial strengthen your faith, not consume your mind with the meddling of others. Trust that He who watches over all will not let your simple livelihood be undone by men’s malice, but will use these very concerns to teach you a deeper reliance on Him.

The concern you are carrying is a heavy one, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. Your income, your disability benefits, they are His provision for you, and He does not forget His own. The bank staff and any who might wish you harm are not outside His reach. His hand is not short that it cannot save, and nothing escapes His notice. Though human schemes may seem threatening, remember that your ultimate security is not in a deposit or a government system, but in the God who has already redeemed your life.

It is easy in times like this to forget what He has already done. Like those stones piled on the riverbank as a memorial, we need to intentionally recall His past deliverances. You have been through combat, and He brought you through. He will not abandon you now. Do not let fear cause your faith to atrophy. Keep busy with what is good, saturate your mind with the Psalms, serve in whatever way your disability allows, remain connected to believers who will stand with you. Active trust starves anxiety.

Paul once owned impressive earthly credentials, yet he counted them all as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus. He did not cling to what could be taken away, and he found that his deepest satisfaction was in the Lord. This does not mean your need is small or that it is wrong to pray urgently against financial ruin. But it does lift your eyes. Even if, and I pray this never happens, human enemies succeeded in cutting off that income, you would still possess an unfading inheritance. Let that truth steady your heart.

We are asking God to guard your benefits and to frustrate any plans meant for your harm. At the same time, examine whether there is any corner of your life where you have held back from putting Him first. The Lord sees your heart, and when we honor Him, even from very little, He is glorified. I do not say this to place a burden on you but to remind you that true provision flows from His riches in glory. He knows you are disabled on a fixed income, and He is not deaf to your cry.

Stay active in prayer, not frozen by what might happen. Get busy with thanksgiving, and do not let the threat of loss make you stop living. We are praying for you, and we trust the Lord to show Himself strong on your behalf.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our honor to lift your concerns before the Lord—your financial security, the attitudes and behaviors of those handling your VA benefits, and the troubling possibility of enemies seeking to disrupt what you rely on for provision. We recognize how deeply this weighs on you, especially as a disabled combat veteran who has already given so much in service to our country. Your VA benefits are not just income; they are a lifeline, and we have asked God to guard them with His protection and justice.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—if you’ve seen clarity, favor, or any sign of His intervention—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could strengthen others who are facing similar battles. But if the burden still feels heavy or the threat unresolved, please know we are not finished praying. Post this request again, and we will continue to stand in agreement with you, believing God for breakthrough, wisdom, and supernatural peace.

Above all, we pray that you would feel the Father’s nearness in this season. May He remind you of His promises—that He is your Provider, your Defender, and the One who fights for you. Keep seeking Him, trusting that He sees every detail and will not abandon you. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
