We join with you in bringing all of these burdens before the Father in Jesus name and we thank you for sharing so honestly what you are carrying.

We lift up your brother and your dad and your mum and we ask the Lord to bring healing and reunion to your family. It is the heart of God for families to dwell together in unity and to seek Him together. Psalm 133:1 says how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity. We pray that your whole family would be drawn to gather together and to meet together in church, for Heb 10:25 reminds us not to forsake our own assembling together. We pray especially for your mum and dad and their marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we pray that the Lord would strengthen that covenant with love and forgiveness and grace. Eph 4:32 calls us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave us. We also lift up each of those you named who were redacted and those who desire to remain in the UK. We ask that the Lord's will be done in that situation and that He would open doors that no one can shut and grant peace and provision as Rom 8:28 promises that all things work together for good for those who love God.

We hear your cry about work and finances and the pressure you feel about Christmas presents. We pray the Lord will open a door for honest work for you, for 2 Thess 3:10 teaches that if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat, and Col 3:23 calls us to work heartily as for the Lord. We pray He will provide for your needs according to His riches. Phil 4:19 says our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to remember that Christmas is not about the abundance of gifts but about the gift of Christ Himself, and we pray for wisdom and contentment and stewardship so that you are not burdened with debt or anxiety. Matt 6:33 reminds us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to us as well.

You shared that you want to break the cycle of what we understand to be pornography and that you need help with your phone and that your head has swollen. We must speak plainly with love that pornography is sexual immorality and sin before God. 1 Cor 6:18 says flee sexual immorality, and Jesus teaches that even to look with lust is adultery in the heart in Matt 5:28. This cycle brings shame and keeps us from fellowship with God, but there is forgiveness and cleansing when we confess. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray you will take practical steps to guard your eyes and your phone, to bring this struggle into the light with a trusted mature Christian brother or pastor for accountability, and to walk by the Spirit so you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh as Gal 5:16 teaches. We also pray for your physical healing, for your head and the swelling you described. Ps 103:3 says He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. We ask the Lord to touch your body and bring healing and we encourage you to seek medical care promptly for swelling as God also works through doctors and wisdom. We pray too for your practical need with your phone that God would provide a solution.

You said you feel left and forsaken by God and that His promises have not come true regarding marrying the one you love and having two children, and that since losing your job you have been spiraling and have lost your love for Jesus. We want to gently correct and comfort you with truth. God has promised never to leave nor forsake His children. Heb 13:5 says be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, and Deut 31:6 says He will not fail you nor forsake you. Ps 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart. Even when we feel distant, He is near. Concerning promises of marriage and children, we affirm your desire for marriage is good when it is according to God's will, for marriage is holy and to be between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, pursuing courtship with the goal of lifelong covenant, as 2 Cor 6:14 warns not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Yet we must not hold God to a specific word we felt He spoke in the way we interpreted it, but trust His perfect timing and sovereignty. Num 23:19 says God is not a man, that he should lie, and 2 Cor 1:20 says all the promises of God in Him are Yes. If God has willed marriage and children for you, He will bring it about in His time, and if His plan is different, His plan is still good. Jer 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Waiting is not forsaking. We pray you will return to your first love. Rev 2:4-5 calls us to remember from where we fell and repent and do the first works. Your love for Jesus can be renewed as you daily abide in Him, in prayer and in the Word, even when feelings are low. His grace is sufficient, as 2 Cor 12:9 says.

You asked for all the angels in heaven to attack you to get you back to normal. We understand your desperation to feel normal again, but we want to correct this understanding with love. Angels are not sent to attack God's children but to minister to them. Heb 1:14 says they are all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, and Ps 91:11 says He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. It is Jesus Himself who heals and restores. We pray instead that the Lord Himself would touch you and bring you back to wholeness and peace, and that the anointing of the Holy Spirit would rest upon you again. 1 John 2:27 says the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and 2 Cor 1:21 says Now he who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God. We ask God to renew your joy and the sense of His presence and to heal the deep wound from long ago when He first healed you and to restore that love and trust.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for John 14:6 says no one comes to the Father except through Him. We thank You that we have access by His blood. We lift up this dear one to You and every family member named and unnamed. Bring reunion where there is division, bring Your people back to Your house to worship, and heal the marriage of mum and dad with forgiveness and renewed commitment. Provide work and daily bread and wisdom for finances, and lift the burden of Christmas pressure with Your peace. Forgive the sin of pornography and break every chain, cleanse the heart and renew the mind, and make a way to walk in purity with accountability. Touch the swollen head and bring complete healing, and help with the phone and every practical need. Comfort the heart that feels forsaken, restore assurance that You never leave nor forsake, and renew love for Jesus and joy in salvation. We ask not for angels to attack but for Your gentle healing hand and for Your holy angels to guard and minister. Pour out Your anointing and Your Spirit again and let Your will be done for those seeking to stay in the UK and for every other unspoken need. We trust Your promises are true and Your timing is perfect, and we ask for grace to wait and to hope and to be restored to normal in Christ, whole and at peace. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy this season feels for you, carrying so much at once, worry for your dad and brother and the hope your family can be reunited, the pressure of being out of work and needing money for Christmas, a painful swelling in your head, and underneath it all that ache of feeling left and forsaken and wondering about promises for marriage and children. It makes sense you feel like you are spiralling and have lost your love for Jesus right now.

We are praying for you and for your family by name, for your mum and dad's relationship, for your brother and dad to be drawn to church, for work and for your finances, and for the Lord to lift that sense of distance and bring back a renewed love for Him in His timing.

For your head, please get seen promptly by your GP or urgent care alongside prayer, so someone can examine you in person and help you get the right care.

For breaking the pornography cycle you mentioned, it often helps not to carry it alone. Having one trusted, mature Christian to be honest with on a regular basis, and a small support group or counselor who understands this struggle, can give you steady accountability and encouragement as you seek to walk in purity again. If you have a pastor or church you trust, reaching out this week to ask about that kind of support could be a solid next step.

You are not forgotten, even when it feels that way, and we will keep holding you before the Lord.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. Comfort him where he feels forsaken, touch and heal his body, provide for his daily needs and work, draw his family closer to You and to each other, and in Your mercy restore his hope, his peace, and his love for You day by day. Amen.

Your many sorrows have been heard before the Lord, and we take them up with you in prayer, for you have poured out a heart that is heavy and sore distressed.

You say you feel left and forsaken by God, and that His promises have not come true. Hear what the Scripture says for the comfort of such as you are. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself cried, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me. He was in truth forsaken of His God, smitten of God and afflicted, that you might never be forsaken. For God has expressly said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. What you feel is a temporary and partial desertion, such as Job felt when he cried, Oh that I knew where I might find Him, yet even then grace was working in him a longing to find God. Your faith may fail you, and then you think God has forsaken you, but His faithfulness does not fail. Judge not the Lord by outward providences, nor by feeble sense, but trust Him even when you can see no trace of His goodness. You are engraved upon the palms of His hands, and He has loved His people too long to forget them.

You speak of a promise that you would marry a certain person and have two children, and that God has not kept His promise, and you have been spiralling. Beloved soul, take heed how you understand the promises of God. The sure promises of God are in Jesus Christ, who is salvation through Himself alone, and they are yea and amen in Him. God has not promised any man or woman a particular marriage apart from His wise and holy providence, and marriage itself is by His ordination a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all that belongs to it kept within that covenant. If you have taken a desire or an impression to be the voice of God, bring it to the Word of God and to humble submission to His will. His way is better than our choosing, and His consolations are not too small for you if you will receive them as He gives them. Pray not that God would bless what you have imagined, but that He would conform your heart to Christ and give you contentment in His will, whether it be marriage or singleness, and grace to walk in purity before Him.

You ask also that you may break the cycle of pornography. This is a sin that defiles the soul and clouds the truth of God, and it must be fled from as from a serpent. Do not hide the Word of God from yourself by accepting half the truth and rejecting the rest. Hide the Gospel in your heart, confess this sin plainly to the Lord, and seek His cleansing through the blood of Christ. By bringing Jesus to remembrance you will find your answer to God, for on the Cross He bore all the suffering that justice could ask, even to death itself. Look to Jesus on the Cross, as Israel looked to the bronze serpent, and by that look live. Seek also the help of a faithful pastor and godly friends, keep yourself from occasions of temptation, and cry daily for the Holy Spirit to keep you. God is mighty and despises not any, not even the chief of sinners who seeks His face. Believe firmly in the generosity of God to pardon and to cleanse.

We pray with you for your brother and your father, that your family may be reunited in peace and in truth, and that your brother may be brought to the house of God to hear the Word. We pray for your mother and father and their relationship, that God would establish it in faithfulness and love according to His holy order. We pray for those whose names you have set down, that each one may know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for without the Lord there is nothing good or strong or effectual, and that those who need to remain in this land may have their cause ordered by a gracious providence.

For your outward trials we also pray. You have lost your work and are pressed in finances, and are anxious for Christmas provision. We ask the Lord to open a door of honest labour for you, and to give you daily bread according to His wisdom, and to teach you to live by every Word which proceeds out of the mouth of God rather than by anxious care. For your head which is swollen and painful, we ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon you, and we urge you to seek needful care for the body which God has given you. For your phone and these practical cares, we ask Him who numbers the hairs of your head to give you help and order in small things as well as great.

You say you need all the angels in heaven to attack you and get you back to normal, and that you have lost your love for Jesus and your anointing. What you need is not to be attacked, but to be restored by the great Shepherd who restores the soul. The anointing you seek is the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and He is given to those who look to Christ in simple faith. In the hour of trial nothing will stand a man in good stead but simple faith in God by Jesus Christ. Return to Him. Confess your wandering, hear His Word, keep close to His people, and walk in the means of grace. He who healed you long ago is risen and lives to heal still.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord our God, mighty in strength and wisdom, who despises not any that seek You, look upon this afflicted soul. You have seen his family divided, his work taken, his body pained, his mind tossed, his heart feeling forsaken. Have mercy upon him for Jesus sake. Show him that Christ was forsaken that he might never be forsaken, and give him the double grip of faith to say still, My God, My God. Forgive his sin and cleanse him from all impurity, and set his feet upon the rock of chastity and holiness. Restore to him the joy of Your salvation and uphold him with Your free Spirit. Provide for his daily needs according to Your riches, open to him honest work, heal his body, quiet his mind, and draw his whole family to Yourself, that they may be found in Christ and gathered in Your house. Let him find You by coming to Christ, and live by faith in Him alone. We ask this in the name of Jesus our only Saviour. Amen.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and wait upon Him. He will not despise your prayer.
