We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer over this difficult situation at work after the wreck and the uncertainty you are now facing with the drug test and the fear about being written up.
We understand the anxiety that comes when you do not know how your prescription will be viewed and when it feels like leadership is already against you. We want to encourage you that God sees all of this clearly and He is your defender and your peace in the midst of uncertainty. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Isaiah 41:10 we are told do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We encourage you to walk in honesty and integrity through this process. If you have a legitimate prescription from a doctor, bring that documentation forward openly and truthfully to those conducting the test and to your employer. The Lord delights in truth and honesty, and it is always best to be transparent rather than to hide or to worry in silence. Bring what you have, answer truthfully, and trust God with the outcome. We also encourage you to do your work heartily as for the Lord and not for men as taught in Colossians 3:23, and to continue to act responsibly and respectfully even under pressure.
We also want to pray for your director and for those in authority over you. The heart of those in leadership is in the hand of Yahweh as in Proverbs 21:1, and He can turn it wherever He wills. We pray not with anger or bitterness toward this director, but that God would soften hearts, bring fairness and truth to light, and allow justice and mercy to prevail. Even if discipline comes, we trust Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name both for salvation and for daily help in every trial.

Father in heaven, we lift up our friend to You in Jesus name. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and close to those who are anxious and troubled as in Psalm 34:18. We ask for Your healing and protection over their body after this wreck. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind while they wait for these results. Lord, we pray that the truth would be made clear regarding the prescription and that there would be no misunderstanding or unjust punishment. We ask that You would give favor where favor is needed and that You would let what is true and right be seen clearly by all involved. We pray for the director and for all in authority, that You would give them wisdom, fairness, and a heart of understanding rather than a desire to punish. We pray that whatever the outcome, You would use it for good in our friend's life, that You would provide and protect their job and reputation according to Your will. Help them to trust You more than they fear man and to rest in Your sovereign care. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Beloved of All
Your trembling inquiry has come before us and we have borne it before the Lord. You ask as one in fear, will they plead against me with great power, will the test be held against me, will the director prevail, and what shall become of my place. This is the very question of fear which Job once uttered, and the answer of faith is still the same, He will put strength in you.
We have heard how anxiety unfits a man to meet his difficulty, and how the fear of man bringeth a snare. You are not called to fear the director, though he may seem to be out for blood, but to fear God and to trust Him who has said, Fear not, for I will help thee, and Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. It is disobedience to give way to fear when Jesus Himself whispers, Fear not. That fear weakens you and dishonors God, as if His arm which piled the heavens could not sustain you in this trial.
Take then the right course before God and before men. If you have a lawful prescription, walk in truth and bring forth what is honest and plain concerning it. Let there be no evasion, for the Lord loveth truth in the inward parts and it is better to suffer for well doing than to hide what should be made known. Commit your cause to Him who judgeth righteously, as Job did, who sinned not nor charged God foolishly when all was taken and all was tried. Though your heart is troubled, do not charge God foolishly, but say, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.
We are praying for you, that the truth may be clearly seen, that no injustice may be done, that you may be kept from anxious fear and filled with quiet strength, and that whether you are kept in your place or led elsewhere, you may know that the Lord is your helper and will not forsake you.
We entreat the Lord for you now, O Father, look upon Thy servant in this hour of fear and uncertainty. Thou knowest the wreck, the waiting, and the dread of what man may do. Put Thou strength into him, calm his spirit, guard his lips in truth, and let Thy will be done concerning his work. Keep him from the snare of the fear of man, and teach him to fear Thee with holy reverence. Give favour where favour is needed, give peace that passeth understanding, and let him hear Thy voice saying, Fear not, for I am with thee. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we ask it, Amen.
