Disciple of Prayer
I’m asking everyone who can, please keep me and my children in your prayers. I’m going through a difficult domestic situation right now, and I truly need God’s protection, strength, peace, and guidance. Please pray that God opens the right doors for me at work and blesses me with a better shift that works better for me and my children. I’m praying for stability, better days, and the strength to keep pushing forward. And when it comes to my children’s father, I’m leaving everything in God’s hands. I pray that he understands the hurt his actions have caused and that God brings justice, accountability, and consequences where they are deserved. I don’t want revenge—I just want God to handle what I can’t.

We have read your request and we are lifting you and your children before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We hear the weight you are carrying in this difficult domestic situation and the deep desire you have for protection, stability, and peace for your family, and we want you to know that God sees you, hears you, and is near to you in this trial.

The word of God reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. And He says, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We cling to the promise that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. And we are encouraged that when we bring our anxieties to Him, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother and her precious children to You. Lord, place Your hand of protection over them and cover their home with Your presence. Grant her strength for each day, peace that surpasses understanding, and clear guidance for every decision she must make. We ask that You open the right doors for her at work and provide a better shift that allows her to care for her children and provide stability for her household. Lead her in the path You have for her, for we trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and don't lean on our own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray for stability, for better days ahead, and for the endurance to keep pushing forward as You uphold her. We also pray for her children, that You would guard their hearts and minds, let them feel Your love and safety, and surround them with Your angels.

We also pray regarding the children's father. We hear your heart that you do not want revenge but you want justice, accountability, and consequences where they are deserved, leaving what you cannot handle in God's hands. That is a godly and biblical posture. The Scripture says, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. We pray that God would bring conviction where it is needed, that He would open this man's eyes to understand the hurt his actions have caused, and that true accountability and justice would come according to God's perfect righteousness and mercy. We pray for God's will to be done in that relationship, and we pray for healthy and godly order for this family. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and God's design for family is that it be a place of love, safety, and faithfulness. We pray that every relationship in your life would be brought into alignment with that design, with clear and safe boundaries, and that if reconciliation is possible and safe, it would be through repentance, truth, and godliness, and if not, that God would establish protection and peace for you and your children.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You spoke of God, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can bring every burden to God and be heard, forgiven, and held. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to confess your need for Him, and to walk with Him daily. He is your advocate, your refuge, and your peace.

We encourage you to keep drawing near to God in prayer and in His word, and to seek wise, godly support around you in this season. If your domestic situation involves any threat to your safety or the safety of your children, we encourage you to reach out to a trusted pastor, godly counsel, and the appropriate authorities for protection and help, for God also provides help through His people and through those appointed to protect. Trust that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1.

We will continue to keep you and your children in our prayers, asking God to provide for your work needs, to establish your home in peace and stability, to heal what has been broken, and to let His justice and mercy prevail. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and give you strength for today and hope for tomorrow as you keep your eyes on Jesus.

We are so thankful you reached out, and we want to care for your safety first. If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from trained people, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com, it covers about 130 countries. You are not alone and help is available right now.

We hear how heavy this season has been as you carry concern for yourself and your children while trying to keep everything going at work. Wanting protection, peace, stability and a work schedule that actually allows you to care for your family are such understandable and good desires, and wanting justice to be handled rightly without carrying revenge yourself is a heavy burden to hold.

When so many needs press at once it can help to have one or two safe next steps. If you have a trusted person nearby, a family member, friend, faith leader or advocate, consider letting them know what you are facing so you are not holding this alone. The helpline above can also help you think through a safety plan and local resources for both housing and work stability. For the shift you mentioned, if it feels safe to do so, a quiet conversation with a supervisor or HR about what schedule would make you more stable for your children may be worth exploring.

We are praying for you and your children now.

Father, we lift this mom and her children to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with Your protection and peace, give her wisdom and strength for each next decision, and open doors for stable work that provides for her family. Bring accountability where it is needed and guard their hearts as they trust You to handle what they cannot. Amen.

Hello friend. I am so sorry to hear of your situation with your children and their father. I will pray on your behalf and ask God to shield and protect you with divine guidance and to make the way for you to have peace, abundance, prosperity, stability in all areas of your life. I send you love and light and May you be blessed with all your needs met. Amen

Your request has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you, entreating Him for you and for your children in this season of trial.

We pray that the God who alone has perfect stability, who is without variableness or shadow of turning, will be your stability when all around you is shaken. Since the fall, perfect stability has ceased from the world, but He remains immutable, all wise and perfect, and He cannot change. May He set your feet upon a rock and keep you in firm profession and practice of trust in Him, for He is faithful to those who wait upon Him.

We ask for His protection over you and your little ones. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, and we pray you may walk in His appointed ways, in childlike trust in His providential guidance, not leaning upon your own understanding but asking Him to guide every step. You will always need divine keeping, and His promise is that He gives His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways. May that perpetual and personal keeping be your portion, that peace which passes understanding may guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and that strength be given you day by day to keep pushing forward.

For your work, we pray that the Lord in His wisdom would open the right doors and provide for your household. He knows your need for a better shift that allows you to care for your children and to provide stability and better days. Ask the Lord to make your path plain, to grant favor where it is needed, and to give you guidance to know what you shall do as you wait upon Him.

Concerning the children's father, you have done well to leave all in God's hands, not seeking revenge but asking Him to handle what you cannot. The Lord is slow to anger, His axe is bound up with rods for He first reproves that men may repent, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked. His justice is unimpeachable, holy and glorious, and He sees all hurt and will deal with it in righteousness. Vengeance belongs to Him, and we may trust Him to bring justice, accountability and right consequences in His time and in His way, while we pray also that the man may see the hurt his actions have caused and be brought to repentance. Remember that justice found its full satisfaction at the cross, where the cloud charged with fiery hail fell upon the Saviour's heart, so that God can be just and yet the justifier of those who turn to Him. If there is sin to be confessed, let us confess it and find mercy there, and if there is wrong suffered, let us commit it to the Just Judge who does all things well.

We pray for you thus, that the Lord would cover you with His feathers, sustain you with His strength, fill you with His peace, lead you with His counsel, provide for you in His providence, and vindicate you in His justice and mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
