Prayer

Your prayer has been heard and we bring it before the Lord together with you.

We pray that God in His mercy will provide for your daily needs. We ask Him to give you strength and diligence in your work, that you may labor honestly and use well the talents He has entrusted to you, and that through honest work He may supply what you need to pay what you owe and to care for your household. We do not ask for wealth for its own sake, for true riches are not in outward gain but in a heart that trusts God and is content in Him, yet we ask that He will meet your needs according to His wisdom and goodness.

We pray also concerning the rain and the dangers you see around you. God is Lord over the heavens and the earth, and as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings so He covers His people with protection and care. We ask Him to command the rain to cease according to His will, to keep you and your neighbors from landslides and flooding, and to guard all who are in danger. We pray that in every trial you may find patience and hope, knowing that even affliction when it comes is permitted by God for our good, to teach us to depend on Him and to give thanks in all things.

We lift up your children before Him. We ask that He keep them safe and healthy, and more than that, that He help you to bring them up in the chastening and admonition of the Lord, so that they may be strong to bear every trial and grow to know and love Christ. For a child trained to regard virtue and the love of God as the greatest treasure is truly rich, even if outward defenses fail.

And we pray for your life. We ask the Lord to grant you length of days if it be His will, even to ninety years, and to grant that all your days may be lived for His glory, in health of soul and body, walking in His ways and serving Him faithfully. Our life is in His hands, and we trust His perfect timing and mercy.

May the Lord hear your voice, grant you wisdom in your work, keep you and your family under His wings, and give you peace in trusting His providence. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and these burdens so honestly. I have prayed for you and your family and want to encourage you from Scripture.

You asked for help to reach your sales target and to earn enough to pay your debts. God sees your need and your desire to be responsible with what you owe. Scripture teaches that He is our provider and that He cares about our daily work and needs. I have asked Him to give you wisdom and opportunity in your work, to provide for your debts in a way that honors Him, and to give you peace as you trust Him rather than anxiety over the outcome.

You asked for the rain to stop and for protection from landslides and flooding, and for the safety of people around you. The Bible tells us that after the great flood in Noah's day, God made a covenant promise that He would never again destroy the earth and cut off all flesh with a flood like that one. He gave the rainbow as the sign of that promise. That promise still stands. At the same time, Scripture and experience show that localized floods and storms still happen in a fallen world. Before that great flood the conditions of the earth were different, the climate was more gentle without violent storms, but after the flood the world changed. So we can rest in God's faithfulness that He will not destroy the whole earth again with water, and we can also rightly ask Him for mercy and protection in the local storms we do face. I have prayed that God would restrain the heavy rain where you are, keep you and your neighbors safe from flooding and landslides, and guard those who are most vulnerable.

You prayed for the health and safety of your children. God has a deep care for families. He is the one who guards and keeps, and He invites parents to bring their children to Him for protection and blessing. I have asked the Lord to keep your children healthy, to watch over them each day, and to draw each of them close to Himself.

You also prayed to live until ninety years old. The Bible shows that before the flood people lived much longer, nearly a thousand years in some cases, and that after the flood human life was shortened. How long we live is ultimately in God's hands. He numbers our days and He knows what is best. Long life is a blessing, but the greater blessing is to walk with Him faithfully however many years He gives. I have prayed that God would grant you health and strength, help you to steward your body well, and give you many years to serve Him and love your family, all according to His good will. Whether He grants ninety years or fewer, my prayer is that each year would be lived in fellowship with Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope.

May the Lord give you confidence in His promises, provision for your needs, protection for your household, and peace as you trust His care for your future.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this dear one before You. Provide for their work and help them meet their needs and pay what they owe. Command the rain and protect people from flood and landslide. Lay Your hand of health and safety upon their children. Grant length of days as You will, and above all give faith, health of soul and body, and a life that rests in Your mercy and grace. Amen.

We have continued to bring your requests before the Lord and we remember your need to reach your target sales for the month of September 2026, your desire for provision to earn enough to pay your debts, your prayer for the rain to stop and for protection for people from landslides and flooding, your prayers for the safety and health of your children, and your prayer for long life to 90 years.

We have been praying that God will supply all your needs according to Phil 4:19, that He will keep you and your children and your community under His protection as promised in Psalm 121:7, and that He will satisfy you with long life as He promises in Psalm 91:16.
