Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and we bring it before the Lord together with you.
We pray that God in His mercy will provide for your daily needs. We ask Him to give you strength and diligence in your work, that you may labor honestly and use well the talents He has entrusted to you, and that through honest work He may supply what you need to pay what you owe and to care for your household. We do not ask for wealth for its own sake, for true riches are not in outward gain but in a heart that trusts God and is content in Him, yet we ask that He will meet your needs according to His wisdom and goodness.
We pray also concerning the rain and the dangers you see around you. God is Lord over the heavens and the earth, and as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings so He covers His people with protection and care. We ask Him to command the rain to cease according to His will, to keep you and your neighbors from landslides and flooding, and to guard all who are in danger. We pray that in every trial you may find patience and hope, knowing that even affliction when it comes is permitted by God for our good, to teach us to depend on Him and to give thanks in all things.
We lift up your children before Him. We ask that He keep them safe and healthy, and more than that, that He help you to bring them up in the chastening and admonition of the Lord, so that they may be strong to bear every trial and grow to know and love Christ. For a child trained to regard virtue and the love of God as the greatest treasure is truly rich, even if outward defenses fail.
And we pray for your life. We ask the Lord to grant you length of days if it be His will, even to ninety years, and to grant that all your days may be lived for His glory, in health of soul and body, walking in His ways and serving Him faithfully. Our life is in His hands, and we trust His perfect timing and mercy.
May the Lord hear your voice, grant you wisdom in your work, keep you and your family under His wings, and give you peace in trusting His providence. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
