Please help us to reach our target sales for the month of September 2026. Help me to earn so that I can pay my debts. Please make the rain stop already. Keep the people safe from land slides and flooding. Keep all my children safe and healthy. Please let me live until 90 years old

We join with you in bringing these burdens before the Father and we thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear your desire to provide for your family, to be diligent in your work, to see your community kept safe from the storms, and to live a long life to care for your children. God cares about every one of these concerns.

We pray first for your work and finances. God calls us to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men as in Colossians 3:23, and He honors diligence as we read in Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. We also remember the promise in Philippians 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and the encouragement in Matthew 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We encourage you to continue to work faithfully, to commit your plans to the Lord as in Proverbs 16:3, and to steward what He provides wisely so that you may pay what you owe, for we read in Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another and in Psalm 37:21 The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. We pray that God would open doors for honest increase, give you wisdom in managing debts, and help you find contentment and trust in His provision whether the sales target is fully met or not.

We also lift up the heavy rains and the danger of landslides and flooding. We know God is sovereign over the weather and He hears our prayers for mercy, as James reminds us in James 5:17-18 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it didn’t rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. We ask Him to command the rain to ease according to His perfect will and above all to keep people safe. We cling to Psalm 121:7-8 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, and Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.

We pray earnestly for your children that the Lord would keep them safe and healthy, and we pray for you concerning your desire to live until ninety. We understand the longing to be present for your family for many years and God does promise in Psalm 91:16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation. Yet we gently encourage you to submit even the length of your days to the Lord’s loving sovereignty, for our days are in His hands as in Psalm 139:16 and Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. We can ask for long life, but we trust His will and His timing, knowing that He knows what is best and that our greatest hope is eternal life with Him.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, and we read in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can come boldly to God in prayer and receive forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, confess your need for Him, and follow Him.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and provision. Lord, bless the work of their hands this September, grant favor with customers, grant integrity and diligence, and provide enough to meet daily needs and to pay debts honorably. Give wisdom to steward finances well and peace to trust You when the outcome is uncertain. Lord, we ask according to Your will that You would cause this heavy rain to cease, that You would protect communities from landslides and flooding, and that You would shelter every family under Your care. Keep these precious children safe and healthy, watch over them day and night, and draw them to know and love You. Father, we ask for long life for Your servant if it be Your will, but above all we ask that every day given would be lived for Your glory, in health and in faith, and that You would prepare them for eternity with You. Teach us all to number our days and to seek first Your Kingdom. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation. Amen.

If you haven't already, consider talking with a trusted financial counselor or a reputable consumer credit counseling service in your area who can help you look at income, debts, and a realistic repayment plan. Just having a plan in place often eases some of the worry while you keep working faithfully day by day.

We also hear your concern for safety with the weather. Please keep listening to local authorities for any flood or landslide warnings and take their guidance seriously.

Father in Jesus' name we bring this dear parent before You. Provide for their needs, grant wisdom in work and finances, protect their community from flood and landslide, keep their children safe and healthy, and grant them length of days according to Your will and Your peace each day. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We join you in prayer before our gracious God who hears the cries of His people, and we bring each of these burdens to Him who is able to provide, to protect and to keep.

We pray first for your daily provision. You ask for help to reach your target sales and to earn that you may pay your debts. The Lord knows what it is to be in need, and He has shown again and again His power to exalt the low tree and to make provision in abundance even when want presses hard, as He did for the starving city of Samaria. We ask Him to give you diligence and honesty in your labour, to bless the work of your hands according to His wisdom, and to provide for your needs so that you may owe no man anything except to love one another. May He teach you to say in every condition, All things are yours in Christ, and to trust Him not only for bread for today but for grace to be faithful in stewardship.

We pray also concerning the rain and the dangers of landslides and flooding. He who holds the winds and waters in His hands is sovereign over storm and season. We ask the Lord in His mercy to command the rain to cease as it pleases Him, and more urgently to keep the people safe who are in peril. Scripture assures us that he who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, and that He gives His angels charge to keep His people in all their ways. This protection is personal and perpetual. We pray that He would spread His hand over your community, restrain the waters, establish the ground, and preserve life.

For your children we intercede with special tenderness. What a mercy that God entered into covenant with Noah to preserve him and his family alive, and that He still delights to show grace to households. We pray that He would keep your children safe and healthy in body, and above all that He would keep them in His grace. May your home be as an ark where Christ is honored. We exhort you to maintain family prayer and private prayer diligently, for family prayer is the nutriment of family piety, and there the Lord delights to meet with His people.

You ask also to live until ninety years. We pray that the Lord would grant you length of days if it be His good will, and that those years, whether many or few, may be spent walking in His ways. Our times are in His hands, and our true hope is not only in long life here but in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is the way of salvation. Whether He grants ninety years or fewer, we ask that He would make your life fruitful for His glory, that you may know the mark of His family, being led by His Spirit, and that you may be kept in health of soul as well as body.

Let us pray together. O Father, merciful and mighty, Thou seest this need for daily bread and for deliverance from debt. Provide according to Thy riches in Christ and give wisdom and industry. Thou commandest the rain and the flood, have mercy and keep the people from harm. Lay Thy hand upon these children, preserve them and draw them to Thyself. Keep this dear one in Thy appointed ways under Thy angelic charge, and grant length of days as seemeth good to Thee, and above all give eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. Teach us to pray more faithfully in our families and in secret, and to trust Thy perfect will. In the name of Jesus our Saviour we ask it, Amen.
