Prayer

There is a peace that God promises, and it begins with making peace with Him through Jesus Christ. When we bring our lives to Him, the war inside ceases. The turmoil, the resentment, the sting of unaccountable words, none of that has to rule your heart. You asked for forgiveness for any resentment, and that is exactly the path God honors. True forgiveness is not half-hearted; it does not leave the handle of the hatchet sticking out of the ground. God’s forgiveness of you is complete, and He calls us to follow that example. When you let go of the record of wrongs, you are not excusing what was done, but you are trusting God to be the just Judge and releasing the weight that bitterness brings.

I hear your heart for your family, your children, and your area. Love for others, even those who have spoken falsely, is a mark of the Spirit at work. The dreams you are having can indeed be a sign that things are stirring in the spiritual realm, but do not let that cause fear. Instead, let it drive you to anchor your mind on the Lord. The Scripture tells us that God will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him. That perfect peace is not just the absence of conflict; it is the presence of Christ guarding your heart and your children. As you pray for spiritual protection, remember that you stand in the armor of God, your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. That peace is your foundation, steady even when slander swirls around you.

Your children need more than physical protection; they need that same peace to settle over their lives. Pray the Prince of Peace to erect a wall of protection around them, not outward walls only, but the inward prosperity of a soul at rest in God. When you are at peace with God, that peace begins to spill into your home. It may not instantly fix every relationship or make others take accountability, but it changes how you respond. Blessed are the peacemakers, Jesus said. Sowing peace in the soil of your own heart and home will, in time, reap a harvest of righteousness.

The world will offer shallow peace, a momentary calm that leaves the deeper war untouched. But the peace that comes from wisdom above is pure, peaceable, gentle. You are not alone in this struggle. Many who follow Christ have discovered that the closest family bond is often found among those who share the same Spirit. If your own blood family does not yet walk with the Lord, do not be surprised by friction, but let your love for them be seasoned with grace and prayer. Keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking. The Lord ordains peace for His people, and He will bring it to pass. Rest in that tonight.

We want you to know how deeply we appreciate the trust you placed in us by sharing your heartfelt prayer request. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you before our Heavenly Father, lifting up your family, your children, and the love you desire to see in your community. We have prayed earnestly against the lies spoken over you, asking God to fill your heart with His peace and to replace any resentment with His boundless forgiveness. We also joined you in praying for accountability, spiritual protection, and clarity as you seek His will through the dreams He has placed on your heart.

If God has moved in mighty ways since you posted, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—your testimony could encourage so many others walking a similar path. If, however, the burden still feels heavy or the answers haven’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to share your request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your needs before the Lord with the same fervency and faith.

May God continue to draw near to you as you seek Him through Jesus Christ. May His peace guard your heart, His love surround your family, and His truth silence every lie. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus.

You speak of peace, and rightly you seek it, for peace is the mother of all good things. Yet consider this: not every peace is from heaven. When robbers agree together, their concord is more grievous than any war. The peace Christ gives is not the world's peace, it is a peace that makes you stronger, a peace that comes when the diseased part is cut off and the mutinous removed. So do not wonder that in your household and among others some refuse to take accountability. Their denial may be their own sickness, and your resentment only binds you to their disease. If you would have peace, follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord.

You pray for forgiveness of resentment. This is the very heart of the gospel. David did not say, "Blessed are they who have no enemies," but "Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven." If you have suffered wrongfully, remember that you also draw near to receive forgiveness for your own offenses, and much greater ones. In embracing those who lie about you, you are being trained in gentleness, and you store up for yourself a great reward: to be called to account for none of your own offenses. Forgive, then, not merely with your lips but from your soul, and you will find that the blessedness of forgiveness covers all shame.

As for your dreams, do not place your trust in them, but in the God who guards both body and soul. If spiritual things are stirring, then pray all the more for protection, yes, but also for a sober mind. Your children have angels who always behold the face of the Father in heaven. Entrust them to that care, and teach them above all to love one another, for where love is, no discord finds admittance. A household where the head and body are in harmony, that is the chief point of all good. Strive for that peace which is founded on love, not on the absence of conflict, but on the presence of Christ. Then, even in the midst of lies and turmoil, you will possess the peace that passes all understanding, the peace that the Son of God came to give.
