Prayer for me and my kids

The weight of your trials is not hidden from God, and He sees the tears of a mother who carries her children alone. This spiritual battle you describe, these dreams of destruction, they are the devil’s ambushes, and he strikes most boldly when he finds a soul isolated and burdened. Do not face this warfare by yourself. Gather with the faithful as often as you can, for the enemy trembles when he sees Christians banded together in prayer and love. When you are alone in your home or your thoughts, let your heart flee to Christ and to His Church, and you will find that you are never truly alone.

Your grief for your children is not a weakness, but a holy fire. A mother’s pains for her little ones are dear to God, and He receives such tears as a precious offering. Do not despise this affliction; it is the very school where He trains you for heaven. This hard season is short when measured against eternity. Let your sorrow be the kind that gives birth to hope, not despair. Weep for your children’s protection, weep for your own soul’s safety, and you will find that this grief waters the seeds of lasting joy.

As for those who wish you harm and seek to fight you with dark arts, do not repay curses with curses. Entrust them to the judgment of God, who sees all hidden things. Their malice is a madness they have chosen, and it will devour them if they do not repent. Your shield must be a life of prayer, fasting, and the sacraments. Let no root of bitterness spring up in you, lest it defile your own soul and your children. Instead, heap coals of fire on their heads by praying for their conversion.

Regarding the dreams of a car crash, reject that terror in the name of Jesus. The devil sends phantoms to shake your faith, but the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear. These are lying whispers meant to make you flee when you should stand. Say to your soul, “I will not be shaken, for the Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” Do not let these nightmares drive you to despair; let them drive you deeper into trust. Rise each morning and commit your going out and coming in to Christ. He who stilled the raging sea watches over your path.

I will pray for you and your son and your daughter. But you must also rouse yourself. Shake off the slumber of anxiety and clothe yourself with the strength that comes from above. You are all they have on earth, but their true Father is in heaven, and He will not abandon the orphan or the widow who cries to Him. Hold fast, and may the peace of Christ keep your hearts and minds.

What you are facing is an all-out assault meant to paralyze you with fear, but the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That kind of reverent awe is not a cowering terror. It is standing in the presence of the Creator, knowing he hates evil and trusting his power more than any threat. You are being told of dreams about a crash, but those are not prophecies you have to receive. Do not let those images trap you. The real pit is not on the highway; the real snare is when fear itself takes over your heart and causes you to act as if God has no say over your life. The beginning of knowledge is this: the Lord is your keeper, and you do not need to bow to a nightmare.

You sense a spiritual fight, and you are right. There are forces that hate you, accusations flung against you, and a very real attempt to wear you down through grief and injustice. But remember, evil cannot operate with a free hand over those who belong to Jesus. The enemy may roar, but he cannot devour a soul that takes refuge in the truth. The fear of the Lord teaches you to hate that evil, to call it what it is, and to refuse to give it a seat at your table. When those dreams and spiritual attacks press in, you do not negotiate with them. You declare that your life is sealed by God, and that no weapon formed against you or your household will prosper.

Your son is suffering a deep loss, and the sting of others denying him what he should have is a cruel weight. But you, as his mother, are his primary source of stability. Hear the instruction of wisdom. Do not despise your own role because you feel weary. You are not just a caretaker; you are the vessel through whom your children taste the Lord’s provision. When it feels like the world is stealing from them, look down the path. The inheritance of the wicked will not satisfy, but the Lord is your inheritance. He is the one who provides out of sheer mercy, for free. You do not need to scramble in panic over what others keep back; you need to stand in awe of the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and can provide a way where there seems to be no way.

The clamor of voices and the schemes of others are loud right now, trying to drown out wisdom. But the Lord does not stutter. When you cry out to him, he hears. Do not let your mind get stuck on the shininess of what you are losing or the terror of what might happen tomorrow. All of this is temporary. Lift your eyes. Walk in the fear of the Lord by considering the end. He is your strength. You are a mother who will not be mocked by the enemy. Stand firm. The crash will not happen. The provision will come. Your family is in the grip of a sovereign God, and that is the only safe place to be.
